Pre-IVF I wouldn’t even take a
paracetamol
for a headache, so in a way this feels like a big step for me!

New member and started on gabapentin .
Even
paracetamol
has side effects. Anyway one week of gabapentin later I've decided to take 2 x 100mgs at night ...and I'm still waking up with the horrible sensations , shortly after going to sleep and approx 1 to two hours later... then again in a few hours.

Pred-induced Osteoporosis - Zoledronic acid??
"you may just have flu symptoms after a week or so, just take
paracetamol
". So far, so ok... but then I looked up the side effects, on at least three different sites.

Is there anything other than
paracetamol
and codeine that I can take? (Can’t take anti inflammatory tablets due to chronic asthma)

IBS back pain and pain killers
I am now in extreme pain and
paracetamol
is not doing mu h on its own. Codeine usually leads to constipation which also affects my back. Ibuprofen or naproxen irritate my gut.

Amitriptyline for pain relief
Have been getting really bad lower bowel pain during a recent flare up, all usual meds, mebeverine, buscopan
paracetamol
and faithful heat pack, didn’t really help. Gp wants me to try low dose amitriptyline see if that helps. Just want to know if anyone else has tried it, did it help?

Very fed up. Please cheer me up.
To cut a long story short I've been on
paracetamol
and resting since then. I tried a short walk yesterday and only managed half my normal walking speed (decided that even though I was grounded Mr Garmin should do some work checking my stats lol).

Lots of Meds and no better.
I had my one week of holiday last week and lived on
paracetamol
so we could have a reasonable good time for kids. Sorry, I Know you are all suffering too but it's hard to keep going.

Shin and forearm pains??
Pain so bad that I had to run a bath at 2am and take more codeine and
paracetamol
despite taking it before I’d gone to bed, and sleeping with my legs raised. Great start to my summer break! 😂

Are there any anti-inflammatories that are safe with afib?
I'd not thought about it since, just taken
paracetamol
instead but I have other serious health issues that are getting a bit much for me to manage and NSAIDS may help to take the edge off.
