WELL OVERDUE UPDATE ON AS CLEAR AS MUD . . the saga continues 😩😩😩
Hello Hearties. For those of you who recall I was awaiting to see my consultant, I did but she couldn't figure out why my symptoms persisted even after using the GNT spray. So it was decided That I go for repeated tests and specifically a echocardiogram stress echo and then possibly a further angiogram

Headaches, pain relief and other issues.
I am still in initial stages of being diagnosed and have just started to do my headache diary. I have what seems to be termed as silent migraines and I also have unilateral hearing loss - but I don't just take pain relief for a bad head, I have back problems too - lower spine (which affects my hips and

How to best deal with Cyclogest side effects? Feeling so ill and dejected right now.
I am currently undergoing IVF treatment and am at the progesterone pessary stage (ye gods I hate pessaries). I always had this hope that a few very annoying side effects is what you get not that I'd start a tick box exercise on the Cyclogest progesterone. Hope this eases off. Been told I need to keep

Is It All Too Much?
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia back in 2010 after having a barrage of tests. As you all know there is not one test that says you do have it, they have to exclude other conditions first. Like most of you I googled it and found some good support and information websites this being one of them. All

I have read up it could be paroxysmal nocturnal dypsnea? How would I make my cardiologist notice this. I am

A UTI, antibiotics and a cold right after transfer. Clinic says it will not make a difference to implantation.
Putting this out here because I wish it was here when I was desperately googling this earlier this week and I hope it will save someone the panic attack I had because I thought it was all over. I wrote earlier this week about waking up with a UTI the morning after transfer. I had to go on antibiotics

Debilitating lower back pain
Since pregnancy - 49 years ago ! - I have suffered from lower back pain, initially fleeting and infrequent, for the past 2 years since a total knee replacement, persistent and very frequent. Chronic pain! I have had no benefit from facet joint injections, ablation, caudal epidural and stubborn attempts

Blackouts. Does everyone here have them?
I don’t have blackouts or seizures and from reading various posts on this site, I count myself as very blessed. My symptoms are all nerve related in the sense of having burning and numbness (this is not peripheral). My inability to walk is due to the pain I get when placing my foot to the floor. The

Who referred you for sacral iliac joint injection?
I’m waiting to see oasis pain clinic regarding my sacral iliac pain I just had my pain meds increased and wondered would this likely to be offered or do you you get offered it as a last resort? Been under chiropractor for years but was made worst by a fall in the garden May 2018 and a car accident 2018

Desperate for pain relief.
To briefly explain I have just been diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis I have a chocolate cyst & have been suffering excruciating pain in my right pelvis for over 3 months. The good news is that I’ve finally found night time pain relief which allows me to sleep through. I was prescribed voltarol

Ivor Lewis best surgeon ever!
Hi there, I had and Ivor Lewis Oesophastrectomy in Sept 2017. I had a chest infection and a Dr sent me for a chest X-ray, it revealed a leiomyoma, 17cms in size, which was attached to my oesophagus and the top of my stomach. I had 15cms of my oesophagus removed along with the tumour and the sphincter

Low FODMAP and ibuprofen
Hi all I recently made the switch to the low FODMAP diet and after two weeks of this and taking magnesium citrate I started to feel so much better (I have IBS-C). Then I had very bad period pain so had to take nurofen. They worked at the time although the last dose made me sick (I probably didn’t eat

Advice on headaches with hypothyroidism
My 16 year old daughter has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and no improvement yet on Levothyroxine. She is suffering from terrible headaches along with the fatigue and lightheadedness. Can anyone recommend anything that helps with the headaches as paracetamol and ibuprofen aren’t helping? Thank

I have had severe spinal pain for years. Two spinal ops (both worked for a time) physio and loads of meds. My pain is getting worse over time. Saw a chiropractor early on - wrong advice! I have stenosis, arthritis, spinal problems and fibromyalgia all causing severe pain also sciatica. Was taking morphine

Pembrolizumab/Keytruda severe side effect
I have NSCLC - I'd felt very optimistic after my first treatment in September ....10 days later, I noticed that where I'd had a rasping noise in my throat for a few months, it had gone, and the following week, noticed that my breathing was improved and needed less ventolin etc to keep the airways open

CBD Capsules? Do they help?
Has anyone found benefits from taking CBD capsules daily (H&B)? GP cant advise. So far managing pain in left knee down leg not good. Taking Amitraptiline, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, TENS machine, Tramadol - latter really helps, but taking latter sparingly. In system. Expect some surgical repair intervention
