Hello there,
I had a mis-carriage (5-6 weeks of pregnancy) in April 2019. This was my first pregnancy after trying for nearly 8 months with my husband, naturally conceived. After my mis-carriage, doctors diagnosed endometriosis, having two cycsts around 7-8 cm in total (they are not sure individually how big they are). Since my mis-carriage, we were trying to conceive but we did not have any success. There are of course painful moments especially during and after my periods, which I try to cover with paracetamol. Most importantly, I have been recently refered for MRI to check these cysts closely and then they will likely to send me to an endo specialist, which would be at least 3 months thanks to NHS speed.
Due to me and my husband age (we are both 37), we are planning to see a fertility consultant to consider IVF or IUI treatment soon, as NHS won't refer to us to any fertility expert before they rule out endo situations but we were told it would be too late, as I was already conceived naturally less than a year ago.
We have already booked an appointment for december for fertility consultant (private), and I will go through an MRI in two weeks, wanted to get people's opinions or experiences here perhaps with similar situations like me.
Thanks!
