Flu Jab

Hi! So I had my flu jab on Saturday, all fine except the injection site became very painful quite quickly afterwards but nothing obvious to see other than the needle mark... however last night the pain became worse, and this morning my arm is very red and warm to touch, and it seems to have spread a little throughout the day (I asked my Mum to draw round it this morning)... I've been taking antihistamines and paracetamol regularly today which hasn't seemed to make a difference... I was just wondering if this is just a common side effect of the flu jab? I was only diagnosed with asthma last year so this is only the 2nd jab I've had, and last year I was fine! Thanks in advance for any advice/reassurance x

Ring and check it with someone. I have never had that with a flu jab. And not still getting bigger 2-3 days later.

Thank you! If no better in the morning I will call my GP as soon as they open and get it checked x
