TO INCREASE PRED OR NOT? 3 WEEKS IN BED.
I have been incapacitated due to back muscle spasms and low back pain for well over 2 months. Mostly on the bed for 3 weeks, but able to use walker and now sit on loo and to eat meals (if I eat quickly). When walking without walker, my back gives out after a few minutes. The last few days my upper arms

Leg pain post ablation
Hi folks, does anyone have any experience/ knowledge of leg pain post ablation? Had op in May for 18% ectopics, excellent results, hardly any remaining after 5 or 6 zaps in rt ventricle. Felt amazing for 2 weeks, then after walk, had severe muscle pain in right thigh, near puncture site. Week later

Root Canal Treatment - Oral health & AF
This is really a follow up on my post a month ago about 5 hours of AF in which I casually mentioned I had toothache. It is well known that there is a relationship between oral health and heart health and it is suspected that poor oral health affects Arrythmias. The first dentist I saw took x-ray

Dear all, I have had painful periods since the age of 12 and I am now 53 years old and they are getting worse. The pain each month is unbearable and I have to take a combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen daily to take the edge off the pain. I had a long period of reduced pain because I went

Newbie looking for advice, laparoscopy booked but I’m confused!
Hi guys, I had an elective section 6 months ago (first baby) and since I’ve been experiencing lots of endo symptoms. I’ve had my first consultant appointment and I’m booked/on the list for a diagnostic laparoscopy- I have no idea if there are any next steps or what to expect though? My consultant said

hi all , I hope you’re doing well and keeping strong in whatever stage you’re on this journey xx Unfortunately, we got told on the viability scan that they couldn’t find a heartbeat anymore. Dihydrocodeine safe with Levothyroxine?
Just been given Dihydrocodeine for a torn ligament in my bum cheek. Naproxen and Paracetamol didn't ease the pain. The info in the packet says not to use if hypothyroid, but when I check Levothyroxine with Dihydrocodeine, every site says it's safe. Does anyone on here know? I daren't take it tonight

Anterior and Posterior surgery all done
Well I'm on week 3 post Op. All good. Operation went well. Ended up in theatre for 2 hours to repair bladder and bowel prolapse. I
opted not to have pelvic floor therapy or pessaries but to go straight to surgery. Best choice ever. In and out. Catheter in for one night and packing. Removed next morning

Recovery after partial Knee Replacement
Firstly thank you to everyone who took the time to reply to my last post regarding post op fatigue. That does indeed seem to have passed. However, I am still struggling with trying to gauge how much pain relief I should be using and progress with exercises. It would be really useful to hear from anyone

virus? or flare?
Hi esteemed ones, could I pick your brains? I've got a horrible virus - temp of 38, chills, boiling hot, aching especially neck and shoulder muscles. Feel awful. I never used to take anything before I had PMR , but now I've had to resort to paracetamol. It takes the edge off the grotty feeling especially
