Pain management don't seem to whant to see me
On the 24 of December I get a letter saying that I had not gone to my pain management appointment on the 20 of December nor did I bother to get in contact with them so they have decided not to see me again and they think
palliative
care
would be better for me instead !!!!

John's wife desperate for hope
However, we were told by a macmillan nurse that
palliative
chemo was not the same as
palliative
care
and was "to keep you as well as we can for as long as we can".

Mum diagnosed but advised palliative care only??
He then said he had discussed the biopsy results with the gynaecologist and they advised my mum the cancer was inoperable and she needed
palliative
care
and chemo. She still has not spoken to a cancer specialist, been told the type or stage of cancer. How can this be ok??

The Long Goodbye
Guess what, every category bar 1 was upgraded (2xA, 1xC and rest B's) That same afternoon the Neurologist visited Bugs and advised that she thought things had moved so fast the a
palliative
care
regime was now appropriate. Tear up CHC and submit Fast Track application.

What Should I Do After a Slip Up?
What do you do if you accidentally slip up and eat too many carbs? What can you do to overcome a weight plateau? And what about food cravings during your period? I slipped up today and ate too many carbs! What to do? How big of a set back is this going to be? Have I completely undone all the right

Do you know about palliative care?
I have read some things about
palliative
care
and think it could help my sister who has PSP. Have any of you used
palliative
care
for your loved one with PSP? And, if so, what would you say about it?

Hormone therapy injections, yea right!!!!
Then it was
palliative
care
. Started on Prostrap injections, side effects were horrendous, quality of life, super low. I started researching like you do. Found that hormone therapy drugs weren't actually that efficient in stopping the production of Testerone. 92% tops.

My first post
By June 2016 - stage 4 and passed to
palliative
care
. Had dual chemo which unfortunately didn't work. Had several stomach drains removing approximately 7 to 8 litres each time . Also had lung drain and eventually pleurodesis , talc in lining of lungs, this worked well.

Hello (again) ....not sure what to do next
Morning everyone Been on here before 🙄 raving about the low carb high fat diet. Works a treat for me for a short term fix but the food is just too restrictive and repetitive ( for me anyway as not too creative and don't have a lot of spare time). Now need to continue my weight loss journey but no
