Is codeine ok with prednisolone.
Seeing pysio and doing all the right things and keeping
pain
killers to a minimum as even the paracetamol make me feel strange, light headed and upset digestive system. I am on omeprazole. Would codeine be a good alternative?

Flare caused by stress and overexertion
Pain
in the tops of my legs ,lower buttocks, and calves started a week ago and has worsened with some stiffness in my shoulders and arms. The
pain
is almost identical to the start of PMR in 2020 with associated feeling tired and loss of appetite.

PMR with shoulder and buttock pain
My
pain
symptoms have been bi lateral buttock
pain
and shoulder
pain
. I never really experienced the great relief that many feel when starting pred. despite going upto 25mg. I have reduced gradually over the time but had a few flares where I followed advice on this site , dealing with flares.

Using a massage gun for pain relief.
A year ago Eddie49 posted the above question ..... and I've read through the comments. I am just wondering now if there are any more current/recent/uptodate user comments please.

Nausea wristbands?
Hi! Has anyone tried and had any luck with using those travel pressure points wristbands normally used for travel sickness? I often feel nauseous, usually for the first few hours of the day and have tried ginger, painkillers, sleep and eating with no luck! Thanks in advance

Back pain, still no answer
I’m still trying to figure out why I have such excruciating back
pain
. So far, I have no answer. I usually don’t get relief from the
pain
pills better than a 6 on the scale of 1-10.

There isn't really any
pain
(& it's nothing compared to period
pain
!) but I still feel really tired & dizzy if I do too much. How long until you felt the dizziness go away in particular? I understand the tiredness part as my body is healing! Thank you x

Missed MTX dose..
My heel
pain
is starting and
pain
in my fingers also. Is there anything else I could take that you don’t have to stop each time you get an infection? As I get infections a lot with 3 kids bringing back bugs constantly. I’ve not been on MTX long, only 2 months.

pain
. I don't have
pain
in the back of my head or neck. Lots of blood taken for tests, all came back normal today ESR 17 CRP <5 . I think ESR was 50 when I was diagnosed with PMR in 2020.Thank you to all who offered advice and their own experiences.

Can't squat or raise arms without pain?
I can't raise my arms for more than 15-20 seconds without them feeling an extreme fatigue/
pain
/deadness. Does anyone else have such symptoms? A new rheumatologist told me "I believe you," when I asked about this. I had a feeling by the way she said it that she didn't believe it.
