Heated Dry Eye Mask
I'm wondering if its safe to use a heated eye mask for dry eye after trabulectomy surgery? I had the op 5 months ago. I had been using a microwave mask before the trab but its heavy on the eye so thought a USB type heated lightweight mask might be better. I'm suffering with very irritated eyes especially

Finally received Endo diagnosis following laparoscopy... advice/support for next steps please!
Hi Everyone, I had investigative laparoscopy surgery back in October this year. I finally had my endometriosis diagnosed (it's only taken 18 years, for someone to truly listen), it was removed along with scarring and I had a mirena coil fitted. The validation I had after the surgery was unlike anything

RLS under anesthesia
Has anyone had RLS while under anesthesia ? I didn't know it would be possible but my Dr told my husband I was probably a secret opioid addict because my legs were twitching a lot during the procedure...... 1. I don't take opioids. Even when I tried them for RLS years ago it didn't really work and

Pregnenolone
hi everyone I just wondered if there was anyone taking Pregnenolone and to hear your experiences with it? Dr M an ex GP who now ‘prescribes’ it as part of her protocol, recommended I take it due to 4-point saliva test showing a low cortisol and low DHEA ( just one within minimum) and to be honest,

Twitching running eye...
I have Hashimotos and wondered if any of you lovely people with this also have this happen to you.My left eyelid is kind of flickering and has been on and off for the last 4 weeks, it's not noticable if I look at it in the mirror but when I try sleep I can definitely feel it. Yesterday it was watering

Monopost eye drops .
I wondered if anyone had any experience of using these at all . I do think they’re helping with my closed angle Glaucoma . Not quite sure if it’s acute or chronic as 2 different consultants that I’ve seen have different opinions . Unfortunately the clinic I go to is an American owned one and used by

Central vision 'scarring' following wet AMD injection course
I currently still have quite blurred vision in my left eye following a sequence of 10 Lucentis injections during 2021. No Prednisone, is it dangerous?
Going of prednisone and I was at12mg for awhile. Then suddenly there was a mixup at the pharmacy and now I've gone 2mg a day and now I have no pred. at all, and the drs won't call back with refills. Is it dangerous to go without pred for a few days?? I have been doing very well without too much pain

Pain control
The Pain Clinic has suggested I take Tapentadol. I can't find anything about it on the internet. Has anybody taken this drug and could tell me about it.

off pred…. Update
good morning all. I have now been ‘off’ pred for 6 weeks. It’s been a bumpy ride. I started to have pain in my knees and thighs, which made walking and exercise difficult( never had this before). I took pain killers and reminded myself that the HPA triangle may not be up to speed. I started hydrotherapy

Hi all All was going pretty well, managed to taper from 80 mg to 6 mg after almost 2 years (in april) after initial blurred vision/AF. Have not had any serious side affects or major relapses, one incident with raised CRP/ESR while tapering at 40 but markers settled. Then out of the blue today had

Yet more scans, and still stable.
I think I let you all know somewhere here, that I may have to change treatments, due to my Cancer markers rising all the time. I’m feeling more and more pain. Getting more and more tired. But they can’t see anything changing on my scans. so I will remain on Anastrozole and Ibrance for now. This is both
