Double Vision after Eylea shot.
Good Morning All. After my last Eylea shot 3 weeks ago in my right eye, I experienced double vision and the Dr. had to insert a needle to withdraw some of the fluid. I have been getting shots for about 6 years and also have glaucoma. I have gone blind a couple of times after shots, but never had

Graduated, celebrated, but now back to reality
So yesterday was the exam. Took it with A, prof even said my paper was best, saw friends, was ecstatic, went to the club because apparently we don't have a prom or anything. But the morning i got back, took a shower, tried to sleep, my hair still wet, worried if i got myself sick, a lot of anxiety. Couldn't

BMB done
Had a bmb this afternoon, a lot more painful than last time. They had a lot of trouble getting a sample, and had to have a two or three goes! Home now and quite a bit of pain in the area. Taken some pain killers which I hope will kick in soon. Feels like a horse has been kicking me. Fingers crossed

clinical trial for gene therapy
my doctor ask me if I would be interested in going into phase 3 clinical trials for macular degeneration gene therapy. Has anyone on this forum been in a clinical trial or what is your opinion?

Association Between Antiepileptic Drugs and Incident Parkinson Disease in the UK Biobank
I am unable to post full text article, this is the summary with one comment regarding gabapentin. Interestingly my husband takes gabapentin for back/nerve pain. Prior to his diagnosis he was on a a dose about (600mg), taxes (900mg now) max for pain threshold is (2400-3600). Makes me wonder if we cut

Advice on Spasticity
Following a stroke my partner has severe very painful spasticity in his legs. Despite pain killers and antispasmodic drugs he is in terrible pain when moved ( and pretty well bed ridden as a result) I have managed to get him a referral to a special clinic in Orpington but the waiting list is so long

Progynova and ovulation
Hey lovely ladies! I am preparing for a new FET (3day embryos), I have just started Progynova (estradiol 2mg), 3 pills a day. My dr told me that once you are on Progynova it is a controlled cycle and that ovulation is unlikely. This is how all of my previous FETs looked like - progynova for a number

Parkinsons and the subconscious mind.
Parkinsons has been quite a journey. I’m 4.5 years in. I try not to be on this board very often because I find myself obsessing over things I can’t control. I really wonder if they could ever really cure Parkinsons because of the emotional and mental part of the disease. The unconscious mind can do

Between endometriosis and trying
I have been diagnosed with endometriosis for five years. I had two laporoscapies, one in 2017 and the second in 2020. I got married in May, and thinking that it was two years since my last laporoscapy, I had prepared for beginning to try for a baby in May. To prepare, I had stopped hormonal treatments

Eye pain
Has anyone had eye pain that improved once they began treatment? I have eye pain in only right eye, I have seen ophthalmologist. retina specialist, and neurologist. I’ve been treated for migraines, but a dull pain still remains, My MPN specialist said it may be side effect from MPN ? Any thoughts?

can’t give advice anymore except to find the right Doctor.,
I can’t seem to get anything back into balance, my counts are all out and it doesn’t seem to be a big concern as it’s “not Covid”! Seems that’s all that interests anyone right now! I got one call saying my medicine should be adjusted, huh, he sent in a new prescription for 125 mg from 100mg , he asked

What I see where my vision is impaired
My name is Michael. I'm 43 years old. I was diagnosed with macular dystrophy several years ago. I was told that without some type of genetic test that it's difficult to know whether or not it is adult onset or Best's Disease. At that time, I had never heard of this condition. Previous visits to the optometrist

Advice about hair loss please
Hi, so diagnosed with sub hypo 2 months ago with very raised antibodies. I've been on 50mg levo which was raised due to symptoms after a few weeks so now on 75mg. But while I have seen an improvement in other symptoms my hair is shedding even more. Can anyone advise how long does it take to calm down

Which pain killer
Which pain killer is the best to use? Paracetamol doesn't seem to work very well. My hips have been hurting a fair bit. I'm tapping down and my body doesn't like it much!

Bad pain day - tips
Hello all!I'm hoping for some wisdom from the NRAS hive mind on what to do for very bad pain days. I had a stomach bug over Christmas, missed a dose of methotrexate, and now I have a killer RA flare. I've been resting, gentle movement, painkillers, hot baths etc and am hoping it will resolve. If it lasts
