Pegasys issues
Hi everyone previously I had told you that I was having Sjogrens symptoms while on Pegasys. I stopped it and saw a rheumatologist. She was very dismissive. She told me to just look up my own results on the portal and because she was convinced, without seeing any results that i do not have Sjogrens.

ET related fatigue
Hi my husband is 50 and was diagnosed with ET in January 2023 due to high platelets (917). He is overweight a little but other than that he does not have any other risk factors. All other bloods have come back normal. He is taking daily aspirin. We live in the UK. Since around September 2022 (prior

Nail stain
Hi, I’m here again but now asking for any experience with nail stain, a dark one ( Melanonychia ) related with Thyroid issues. I got it in one of my nail and waiting for a NHS specialist doctor appointment now. I know this can be a big problem, but looking on internet some of melanonychia can be related

Inadvertent taper of prednisolone
I inadvertently took 5mg instead of 10mg prenisolone for 2 days( before which everything was fine) and all my inflammation symptoms of my uveitis came back(haziness etc). . Now I'm back on 10mg . Any idea how long it would take for these symptoms to resolve itself?

EMDR.. anyone?
I am due to start EMDR next week. I have put it off for quite some time for one reason or another but I finally feel brave enough to start this. Anyone else on this journey? Or any success stories? My therapist thinks I have lots of little traumas mostly including health and death and believes this will

Hello, having been previously fit and well, I was surprised to have a an ever increasing amount of severe pain in my shoulders, hips and wrists in July 2022. Blood tests showed high levels of Calcium and a diagnosis of Hyperparathyroidism was made. However pain increased despite very large painkiller

Thank you everyone for your kind words. i will stay on 11mg pred for the time being. problems wearing glasses?
Hi. I’ve always worn glasses - very shortsighted so a strong prescription and heavy lenses. For a long time I’ve had to pay for the lightest possible lenses and small frames, because of headaches. But despite that, in the last 2-3 years I get sores on the sides of my nose where the glasses rest. It’s

heart palpitations anxiety
hey guys. Me again, sorry to bother and ramble on, the past 3 days I’ve been having a few heart palpitations a day. Now I did phone my doctors and they told me this didn’t sound serious and it was normal. They said if the palpitations were regular every few minutes it would be a concern. I get 2 or 3

RA reaction to medication would like general advice on how to manage RA
Hello, I’ve had a reaction to medication I was on for an over active thyroid, which has given me RA symtoms, came on very suddenly so hoping it will eventually clear (have read can take 3/4 weeks). Have been referred to a rheumatoid specialist but apparently it might take months for an appointment. I

Adverse reaction to eyedrops
I was prescribed Latanoprost for one eye. After two doses I experienced severe pain in the eye which lasted at least eight hours. I stopped taking the drops and the bad pain subsided. But I still feel mild discomfort in the eye and it feels a bit gritty. At night I feel mild discomfort in the eye and

I do find this condition puzzling, you think you are getting a handle on it and then it jumps on you from another angle. Most of my difficulties with Osteoradionecrosis were associated with the right hand side of my jaw which I was finally starting to manage to a reasonable level of discomfort (I also

Seeking some advice [Had numerous tests]
Hi, 48yr old male, not overweight, eat relatively healthy, but due to a back issue, limited exercise. Take no meds other than painkillers from time to time for my back.
