Nightly vibrations following Afib treatment with Flecainid and Burnout Syndrome diagnosis

Experience with elderly loved one and pacemaker
(She has the
pacemaker
due to bradycardia and syncope). Her heart would go as low as 35 beats a minute before the
pacemaker
and she was passing out.

The gory bits. Warning extremely long post
In fact they want me to stay in over the weekend and have a
pacemaker
next week. Mood descends to darkness and I phone Sam who is just approaching Reading on M4. Go home I'm not coming out.

Health Impaired Travel Insurance for Sailing
A few years ago I had a
pacemaker
fitted, and although that led to some problems getting travel insurance for a while, for the last few years I've been with a company which has been willing to underwrite a suitable annual travel policy at a reasonable cost.

Pandora's box
The
pacemaker
was interrogated and it showed an episode of Ventricular Tachycardia. Never had that before, but it was far worse than any AF I have experienced.

Pacemaker annual check up
I went for my check up yesterday it was all going ok. I had a trainee doing it which was fine she said someone would come in after to discuss with her how she got on. The discussion didn’t mean a lot to me but at the end of it all 😳 they had to tell me the lower lead was failing! not really what I wanted

Another consolidation run under my belt.
As a
pacemaker
/timekeeper, I listened to Sanjeev Kohli on the last run of C25K for a change and interestingly, the app automatically started playing music from my phone. When I was completing the app before, I listened to the lovely Sarah Millican and no music ever played?

should a pacemaker be a visible lump under my collar bone?
I had a
pacemaker
fitted on June 28th 2019. A week later most of the swelling has gone but the area around the
pacemaker
is a very visible lump below my collar bone. Is this normal or will the swelling reduce further? I'd been led to believe that the
pacemaker
would hardly be visible at all.

MVD angina
I’m a fit and healthy 49 yr old female with suspected microvascular disease and a
pacemaker
. I suffer from angina daily that I’ve been trying to manage through diet and exercise. It’s helped but I still suffer daily. Ironically, I work in the health care field as an RD in Canada.

MRI safe pacemakers
After an abortive attempt at ablation my EP decided I needed a
pacemaker
as my heart slowed down to below 50 beats per minute at night time.

My AF journey takes a turn for the better?
Anyway, having finally accepted that I felt worse than ever she adjusted what she referred to as the "sensitivity" of the
pacemaker
as well as reducing the bpm down to 75.

After the operation for ascending aorta replacement
This was treated throughout the evening by alternating mixes of potassium and magnesium and by connecting my pacing wires up to a
pacemaker
. Amiodarone was given as well. About 12 hours later, my heart went back into Sinus rhythm and could finally rest.

Breathlessness after ablation
Has anyone else suffered breathlessness after having a
pacemaker
fitted then an ablation. I used to get slightly out of breath before having these but now I am so out of breath it’s leaving me exhausted. Is this normal? Does it take time for it all to settle down.
