My dad has extremes of blood pressure raging from dangerously high to unbelievably low. Severe dizziness and shaking. Familiar to anyone?
Has had
pacemaker
fitted for blunted heart rate but this hasn’t stopped the blood pressure problems or the dizziness. Nobody seems to know what could be causing it or how to treat him. Getting worse and don’t know where to turn.

Pollyanna left the building!!!
No tablets seem to work...is there such a thing as a temporary
pacemaker
or contraption to control the rate till they give me another ablation.

One week report
Some light headedness and a few pauses so
pacemaker
(PM) not completely discounted. Not really wanting to drive yet but early days. Sam acting as chauffeur anyway so no problem.

A.F. and incontinence
Anyway, having been diagnosed with AF 2 years ago and now have had a
pacemaker
fitted due to low pulse rate. ( I love the
pacemaker
- I feel so much better.) Aside of all that I was wondering if anyone else with A.F experiences issues with bladder control.

Wasted EP study. No ablation. Amiodorone next
They said it was in the sinus node and I didnt want a
pacemaker
. So now I've been sent home and asked to take Amiodorone. Has anyone else been on it? Any issues with thyroid? Thanks for all the answers !

Pacemaker
fitted in February 2019, taking atorvastatin and doing daily exercise to reduce cholesterol. What else can be done to unblock the blood vessels?

When do you get your Bisoprolol side effects?
FYI, but hopefully not to bore you: In Aug (due to unsustained VT) I was fitted with a combined
Pacemaker
/ICD and started taking 3.75mg of Bisoprolol, which was later increased to 5mg following my first pacing check. On 3.75mg I got the low energy symptoms every other day for about 90mins.

bradycardia
I have symptoms of bradycardia (low heart rate) and may have to have a REVEAL or
pacemaker
implant. I am afraid, and would like some reassurance about this procedure as it's under an a local A with sedation.

SIGNIFICANT METS PROGRESSION DESPITE LOW PSA, LOW ALP, LOW CALCIUM WITH LUPRON/ZYTIGA TREATMENT
(Due to
pacemaker
, he can’t get an MRI) From just a 4-5 mets last year, he now has many mets up and down his spine, in ribs, shoulders, pelvic bones. As you can see from signature below, he resumed Lupron last year, and started Zytiga six months ago in February, 2019. His PSA dropped steadily.

Pandora's box - update
But apparently the
pacemaker
got a little confused and followed the pattern of the AF instead of bypassing it. Silly
pacemaker
!! The technicians spent some time testing and tweaking the device, customising it for me. Fingers crossed then!

Overnight fluid retention
I was wondering whether it may be because I have a
pacemaker
and I take 5mg Bisoprolol at night that my heart is slowing down too much when I am asleep to a degree that the fluid is pooling.

Severe heart failure
My mum has stage 4 lung cancer which is doing really well, she also has severe heart failure and a
pacemaker
. She was admitted to hospital 2 weeks ago and they said she had pneumonia and also that her heart had shown Futher signs of deterioration and asked if she wanted to do a DNR form.

How do I know if I slip back into AF
I think I am doing fine but how would I know if I had slipped into AF again since I am
pacemaker
dependent. If I ask my GP surgery they look kind of vague and change the subject.

Heart failure can my beta blockers be the cause?
My question is I only had the
pacemaker
put in 8 weeks ago and been taking beta blockers Bisoprolol for 4 weeks and it seems all these extreme conditions have come on since I have got sinus node disease, super ventricular tachycardia, bracyacardia A flutter and AF, heart block and 3 ASD’s holes in

No help with pain
Why aren’t instructions on any pulsating implements prepared to tell prospective buyers that they are not suitable for any one with a
pacemaker
or any device connecting to the heart problems.
