I've been a keen sailor in boats of various sizes most of my life, and have been encouraged by my cardiologist and other medical advisers to keep it up for all sorts of reasons.
A few years ago I had a pacemaker fitted, and although that led to some problems getting travel insurance for a while, for the last few years I've been with a company which has been willing to underwrite a suitable annual travel policy at a reasonable cost.
Unfortunately they have withdrawn from the market, and the only alterntaive quotes I can get have premiums more that 3 times the cost of my previous provider. £700+ pa as opposed to £200ish.
Has anyone else had this problem and have they found a suitable insurer?
