Does anyone suffer from pericarditis. I have a pacemaker and defibrillator and pace 100 %. I have had stabbing pains in chest and neck pain. Got docs appointment later today.

Hi Jill, I am being treated for pericarditis too. I think mine was caused from an ablation I had in Dec 19 , my cardiologist is in the midst of doing tests to rule out any other possible causes. Being a newbie to this condition I'm not sure what stage or type of pericarditis I have, but I get the awful pain radiating up into my neck too which gets particularly worse if I over exert myself.
I'd be interested to know how long you've had pericarditis for and also the treatment plan your doctors have prescribed?
