cellulitis
Hello can anyone advise me please, I am having yet another bout of cellulitis and need to really go and see the doctor for the usual anitbiotics. If I do not go will it go away on it's own or should I go and see the doctor today for my med. I am fed up with going to the docs just to get a fortnights

Numbness on 'stache area?
My God have I had a week. It all started when I met up with a friend who happened to have a cold sore below his lips. When I saw it I was automatically triggered because I remembered when I had a cold sore like that. For example, two years ago I had a cold sore that managed to turn itself into an insane

New to community & this is my meningitis story
In October of 2014 I became ill with what I thought was the flu. My temp was 102.9 for about 24 hrs before going to an urgent care facility. I live in the US. While at the facility, I was taken to a room & was asked to submit a UA. Not long after a nurse came in & stated I had signs of a kidney infection

Shingles Vaccination
Hi all could someone please tell me if you can have the shingles vaccination if you're on methotrexate as it's a live vaccine. My GP surgery keeps leaving messages to tell me I'm entitled to it. I know its awful but I just don't trust them to get it right.

Measles Killer: More Common than Believed
[i]A rare and universally fatal complication of measles is more common than clinicians had thought, a researcher said here. The disease is subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE) and in the pre-vaccine era investigators thought it occurred about one in 100,000 measles cases, according to James Cherry

Pain from Shingles in eye.
My Mom (84) has recently had Shingles in her eye and head. It's been 4 weeks now and the pain in her eye is horrendous she screams in pain - it happens about 4/5 times a day. She describes it as burning and sharp pains which has started lasting longer an longer. She keeps telling me she cannot take it

Hello, Hope some one can help. I have just received a bite from our dog (we were playing and my hand hit her tooth and broke the skin) I have rung the doctors and they have asked me to go and get a tetanus booster, but I am unsure as to whether I can have it whilst on Etanercept. Votes are needed
Many people don't realise that their thyroid illness is caused by Lyme Disease and/or other chronic infections. Please vote for this wonderful group which is raising awareness of Lyme Disease.
