PSMA PET Scan Question
I heard on a PCa support group call, from a retired MD, that if your PSA is below 0.1 a PSMA PET scan isn’t useful because it requires a certain level of the PSA to find metastases. Does anyone know if that’s true or is it more of a wives tale or just anecdotal? Thanks!

Liver and gall bladder
Hello ladies, I am currently experiencing a lot of pain on the right side of my torso, front and back. I have tumours ontop and inside of my liver but they are shrinking with weekly chemotherapy. Docs think pain could be pressure on a nerve or gall stones. Apparently gall stones can be caused by chemotherapy

radiation proctitis
I am almost 3 years out from radiation therapy and I’m still suffering from symptoms of radiation proctitis. I did have it confirmed by colonoscopy about a year and a half ago, at that time the gastroenterologist told me he thought it would resolve eventually but it persists. Have any of you had G.I

Been having back and stomach pain on 'watch and wait' and my onc said this morning that a gammography showed several metastases on the spine. I already had two bone mets but seems to be spreading fast. So I am now platinum

Options for Recurrent PCa w/ RT Initial Therapy
Looking for options with intent to cure if recurrence is limited to prostate only, pending PET-PSMA. Have read about these options: Prostatectomy/Brachytherapy/Cystoprostatectomy/Cryotherapy Anybody have any knowledge or studies that might suggest a direction? Still hoping for the possibility

Cytoreductive Prostatectomy & Oligometastatic PCa.
New meta-analysis below [1]. The day that I had a prostatectomy, my surgeon had another operation. The man was found to have cancer in a lymph node, so was stapled-up with his prostate intact. This was in 2004 & debulking was considered to be pointless since the patient would be receiving systemic

Back in Jan of 2022 thought I had a uti went to dr. And after 6 months and multiple rounds of antibiotics no relief. Looking for a Surgeon with Specific Skills
This is a long shot. I’m an Aussie. I had HD brachytherapy for prostate cancer in 2010. In 2016, I was diagnosed with Carcinoma in Situ in the bladder. I’ve had multiple rounds of BCG, and I’m now heading towards a radical cystectomy. My urologist is nervous about the risk of damage to the rectum
