Hi

Today I had appointment at the Urodynamics clinic

Radiation Cystitis is quite ripe at this time

I was check to see if my Bladder is emptying fully . Which it does

Because of the urgency of the Bladder and the constant having to spend a penny

It was suggested for me to try Antimuscarinic. For overactive Bladder

Has anyone else been prescribed this

X

Hello Blue_HawaiiI too have waterworks issues and am interested to read that you have medication for urgency. I don't understand why I sometimes suddenly am absolutely bursting when a minute before I'm not! However my bladder doesn't empty properly and I have to self catheterize. On the whole that helps, though occasionally I still need to go again even after catheterizing a short while previously- weird, and I'll raise it when I see the urologist.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the meds. Fingers crossed that it helps you🤞

Thank you 🙏

Hi Blue Hawaii I don’t know about the drug you’ve been recommended but I am on Mirabegron 25mg which is working pretty well for me. Perhaps take a chance on what you’ve been recommended and see how it goes for a couple of months. The Mirabegron I’m taking started working immediately and has been good for me. Give it a whirl 🌞
