Hearing Loss
In December 2023 I had acute
Otitis
media
ear infection in my right ear, which perforated my ear drum. After many weeks of antibiotic ear drops the infection cleared slightly but I still had earache and significant hearing loss and still had a small hole in my ear drum which has not healed.

Tapering off Prednisolone 5mg suppositories
Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone here has used Predsol 5mg suppositories for 3 months? My Gastro said it was ok to use them that long . . . I'm wondering if I need to taper off (for eg, use every second day for a few weeks?) The gastro was not happy with me last visit as my bleeding had come back

Is Bradypnea and Tachypnea normal?
It’s been 16 months since my cryoablation and my FitBit has logged a few incidences of bradypnea and tachypnea. The charts also show pauses like I didn’t take a breath at all overnight. I am still being monitored by an implantable loop monitor but just wondering if anyone is familiar with this and is

Update re RA and associated Colitis
Yep it's colitis following colonoscopy biopsy results. They are of the impression it is microscopic colitis (associated to auto immune diseases) but not 100% sure. So the handle is unspecified colitis which is a common saying. Treatment is steroids. It's been a long journey after being told for years

Getting bombarded with ads for RA treatment Honey bee venom cream?.
Amazing too good to be true claims for this but there seems to be a few bits of research on it being anti inflammatory. Anyone tried it ? Still taking the meds....

Pulsatile tinnitus, headaches and Eustachian tube dysfunction??
But I did see a health professional who said it looked like
otitis
media
but the voice and clogged feeling made her think it could be something like ETD. She gave me Otomize Ear Spray to use for 7 days but then said not to use for longer.

Salazopyrin
Hi advice on Salazopyrin I've been taking Salazopyrin for some months with regular blood tests. Inflammatory arthritis and colitis. All was going well until I received a phone call to say stop taking them because my last blood test showed a problem with red blood count. I've googled excessively until

Golimumab v. Rituximab? What is others' experience?
After being advised of liver and lung problems attributed to long term use of methotrexate (10mg weekly subcut), it has been suggested I move from a combination of Golimumab/methotrexate to Rituximab alone. From a layman's point of view, apart from a persistent cough) my RA was under perfect control
