Ramipril?
Does anyone know if Ramipril causes further elevated liver enzymes? I was prescribed this medication by my nephrologist to help with the protein in my urine, however since I had slightly elevated enzymes presented in my last CCB I want to be extra careful in what I put in my body.

Mr JA
Mr J A. I have had a ct scan with contrast dye of my abdomen. Been now called for an endoscope procedure. Previous endoscope, 18 months ago clear but told I had compensated cirrhosis. What might they now be looking for?

Rocking sensation?
He originally said that I have
orthostatic
hypotension
, and then this past August 2017 he said that it is actually Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. After that diagnosis, I was on Allegra D and a sinus rinse everyday for a week, this did little for me and after the full week, I stopped this too.

Non cirrhotic Portal Hypertension
Hello, I am from the United States. I have recently been diagnosed with non-cirrhotic Portal Hypertension. I have mild ascites and the Portal Hypertension was discovered when I had two bleeding varices that required banding. I am taking Nadalol and Spironilactone for the ascites. Does anyone else

Fundoplication /anasthesia worries Operate ...or Not
I am suffering from severe reflux which I seem to be aspirating constantly into my lungs. This has damaged my lungs so badly that I have lost possibly 65% of my lung function. Currently, my FEV1 is 0.88. and my FVC is 1.60. I cant do very much without becoming very breathless. But I try to walk on

Metoject prescription being stopped - help!
I have had a call from my lupus nurse to say my gp has written to them to say the ccg have stopped them prescribing metoject and that I will now have to get it from the hospital. All fine except the hospital don’t do the metoject pens and only do pre filled methotrexate syringes which I didn’t get on

Orthostatic Hypotension or Not?
PWP does suffer with OH but normally once he falls the blood comes back to the head and he is fine, now nearly every morning he has what I think is dyskinesia then becomes unresposive, hands become spastic, can last from a couple of minutes to 20mins. Do any of you experts recognise this happening?

Pheochromocytoma question
Hi everyone, this isn't a thyroid question. However, this is an endocrine question and pheochromocytoma seems to be closely linked with thyroid. Anyone out there have a pheochromocytoma? I am currently undergoing tests but what I wanted to check was how often are you having the attacks? Are they monthly

Blood pressure medication
Before I was diagnosed with AF last year I was taking Indapimide with no side effects. Since diagnosis I have been tried on various meds for high BP, including beta blockers, I'm now taking Slozem, all causing me to feel unwell in various degrees. Does anyone have any idea Why indapimide is no longer

Gelatin?
Just read my Euthyrox leaflet after 4 months! (I know - incredibly stupid....) Was surprised to see it contains lactose and Gelatin. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Gelatin come from the bone marrow of cows? Or maybe it is synthetic? If it comes from the animal I'm a bit worried about introducing

Dapagliflozin or not?
I have T2 diabetes; hypertension; polymyalgia (PMR) and have lymphoedema in my legs. My blood readings are raised artificially by having to take steroids for the PMR (4.75 years and counting). Recent Hba1 is 8.7% and I use metformin, Levermir and Novarapid as controls. My GP has recently tried to prescribe
