Scientists find killer chemical for virus behind SARS and MERS
"A team of European researchers has identified a novel compound that stops coronaviruses from replicating. The study, published in PLOS Pathogens today, also pinpoints the juncture in the virus' life cycle when the compound works, suggesting vulnerable stages in virus replication that might be attacked

Dental woes
Currently having dental treatment to remove a large number of mercury filled amalgams. Yesterday I was out for lunch and, despite choosing something very soft to eat, part of a tooth together with its temporary filling came out. I feel quite distraught as there is now a gap in my mouth. Some years

Is anyone prescribed with Naltrexone to relieve fibro symptoms?
Naltrexone has been shown to reduce fibro symptoms at low doses of 4.5 mg per day in small-scale studies conducted by Stanford University researchers. It's a very cheap drug that's used widely to treat alcohol and opioid addiction. Because of this, the drug companies are not likely to fund large-scale

Does anyone suffer with Tooth ache / jaw ache with RA ?

Want to treat adrenals but having amalgams removed soon. What to do?
I now realise that it's my adrenals that are in a bad way and do need treating. First step would be to have an adrenal test to see what the cortisol is doing. Meanwhile, in a month's time, I will be starting major dental treatment to have my amalgam fillings removed. My mouth is full of them and I

My adventures with the beasts
My adventure with "The Beasts of PMR GCA and PREDISALONE" so far. For the last few years I have had problems with pain in my lower back and hips. This was a long story I was seen by a back specialist put on Amatrytaline and an MRI scan ordered. I was told to watch out for signs of urinary difficulties
