What main tests to check at 6 or 7 week
Hi ladies I will be getting my bloods back Tuesday to see if pregnancy hcg is going up. If they do GP said they will book a scan at 6 or 7 weeks. If I do get this far what main tests do I have to get done for any problems with the child? To make sure can check for any abnormalities?

Hello! So sorry to write again but desperately looking for some positive stories/hope or honest advice. I put a post up the other day about a concerning hcg and I’ve managed to have another one done today at the early pregnancy unit. I’m beside myself with anxiety and can see this is already over. The

Kardia Mobile glitch?
Has anyone experienced a recent issue where a reading is started & after approx 7/8 seconds it stops & restarts the ecg reading again often losing the record of an arrhythmia /Ectopic episode ? I have tried a new battery & reinstalled the App but it still persists. Waiting for a reply from Kardia Support

Hi everyone! I’m wondering if anyone might be able to share some advice with me. I’ve been having some hcg tests after my bfp last week. I’m extremely anxious due to a recent mmc and can’t seem to stop the worries every minute of every day. I’ve also had some blood yest which has sent me into a spiral

Two days post ablation
Well, had my cryoablation on Thursday, was just relieved when the smiling porter wheeled me in to the ablation suite. Music was playing, (I would walk 500 miles,) Oh how I wish . The array of screens was fascinating. It was to be done under sedation, Midazolam and Fentanyl. They started with half

Low beta HCG - Ectopic / chemical? Any hope?
Hi everyone, So we got our first ever BFP on Wednesday 6th July and also did a blood test the same day. We got the results from the bloods this morning and the beta hcg level is 15.8 and it says this is a “negative” pregnancy test. What I don’t understand is why the pee stick today is the strongest

Anyone had a similar experience - is this ectopic?
Hey, just after some similar stories. Going out of my mind. I found out I was pregnant a few weeks back after a FET. I would have been 6 weeks today. At around 5 weeks I started having severe cramps and back pain for 2 days followed by a few days bleeding with a couple of clots passed. Of course I

Home ECG monitoring device
Afternoon all! A question regarding home monitoring ECG devices such as Kardia. Saw a cardiologist privately ( NHS wait 7 months plus!!) for a ? Pre Syncope attack. He was not concerned about that, but wanted to check my fast heart rate, and advised the use of a Kardia which the hospital can loan

Been having palpitations on and off for a year I have an innocuous heart murmur but ECHO and ECG normal. Finally had my T3 and T4 level bloods tested today pre appt with endo they are 3.3 and 12.9 I’m guessing the T3 may be the cause of my palpitations hope I’m correct ..any thoughts please ?

Change in Troponin T level - should I worry?
Hello everyone, Might be a silly and unremarkable post compared compared to the ones I found when I was searching to "Troponin" though I though I will ask it to get a bigger exposure on the topic other than all the studies available online. Story : just before I start, I am 35 / m , considered healthy

Not so quick visit to Cardiac Suite
Hi all, Very relieved to be back home after a 'visit' to the cardiac suite yesterday. First time I've needed to use my GTN spray, since my STEMI in February and my 7 stents and unfortunately having used up my max uses, needed to call the 9's! Luckily all was fine, usual ECG, Troponin blood test,

Saw an EP after waiting so long….
I hope that someone can help? Finally I saw an EP yesterday at Bristol Heart Institute. (The AFib nightmare began in September 2020) I have persistent AFib and very symptomatic. So far three electric cardioversions and one chemical. The ECG yesterday showed a problem with T waves (they’re going up, like
