Bradycardia Continuing After Reducing Bisoprolol?
Hi everyone, I have posted on the forum before about me potentially being very sensitive to Bisoprolol, after I had to half my 1.25mg dose on the advice of A&E and my GP to see if this would bring my heart rate up which was previously sitting in the low 40s and 50s the majority of the time. This means

Advice please!
Hello! I’m after some advice please in relation to an ongoing heart rate issue that’s causing me to worry! I’m a 41 year old male, not overweight and I don’t smoke. We were sat at work and all decided to check our heart rates on our watches. Mine went from 98bpm then down to 43bpm which I thought

Follow Up
Hi guys, I know you will remember the farce that was my treatment - so no no need to do 10 A4 worth of words. Just say last year I never got a follow up - until almost a year later. This time I had my BCG treatment for BC and a week Wednesday I have a Cystoscopy to see if the treatment has worked

Leaky Aortic Valve
Before Christmas I was told I had a heart murmur. Following an ECG my GP said it showed left ventricular hypertrophy. She sent me for an echocardiogram which the technologist said didn’t show LVH but a leaky aortic valve. I haven’t had the official results (not sent to my GP) and my telephone consultation

7dp5dt - progesterone levels have gone down?! And BFN...
Hello everyone,So I've been testing early since my FET (I know, but I've had 4 BFPs on prior transfers from as early as 3dpt and by 5dpt it'salways been very obvious) and apart from some misguided excitement over indent lines and faulty tests, it's been pretty clear that I'm out. I also just got my HCG

Update (Perspiring profusely)
Good morning all. After all your good advice I managed to see my Dr on Friday morning. I had the usual tests ECG, blood pressure, blood tests, etc. He wasn't unduly worried about any of them (still waiting for blood test results). That has put my mind at ease but he has told me to go to A&E if the

Chest 'pain' and anxiety - it's back and I hate it!
Hello crew, and hope those that watched the Crowning business enjoyed the ceremony today. Since about 6pm last night (after a day sitting quietly at my desk at home) I've noticed a return of what I've called the 'biting' in my left chest - a little nagging 'pain' that branches to my left armpit and

I’m back with this heart fear crap… I hate it
My life just feels like endless torture sometimes with the symptoms I get, like I’m a 21 male I’m overweight but have no other heart risk factors. Was up AE again after a 3 month time out. Everything fine after a 9 hour wait, trops were 4 and ECG perfect. Just high HR and BP usually from my anxiety.

Heart Attack Journal #2
I really didn’t think I’d be back here again. After my first MI in August 2019, I really thought that the medication I was on would prevent a repeat of this. However, 3 ½ years on, it’s happened again. Seems that I’m in the small minority (less than 2%) for whom the standard medication doesn’t prevent

FRERs out of stock UK - alternatives?
Hi everyone - having always used FRERs to test and found them reliable, I can't find them in stock online and when I went to Boots their shelves were very sparse of everything but own brand and CBD. The double packs seem have gone completely and the singles now have a very long wait and also quite expensive

Waiting for Holter test for 8 months for abnormal ECG
Hi,In my 40s I had a heart scan that showed a PFO but was reassured it was an incidental finding. I'm 56 now and after having palpatations last summer ( 22) I had an ECG that showed abnormal repolarization. My GP referred me for a Holter monitor test and I'm still waiting 8 months later ! I've contacted
