Thanks to the person who recommended this, but I just need to let you all know that, after struggling for some time to make it work, I found it was not compatible with my Samsung phone, so I have had to send it back. So I would advise that anyone thinking of buying one should check compatibility first. ☹️☹️

Kardia ECG Monitor
Good advice for anything you'd like to connect to your phone...
It will be model specific, my kardia connects fine to my Samsung s21.
I didn't ask I found out on the Internet
You could consider the ViATOM Pulsebit-EX ECG Monitor, which I use to monitor my AF.
It doesn't need a smartphone and has a screen that shows the ECG. It can store many readings and has separate storage for two people.
You can replay any recording on its screen or you can connect it to a laptop or PC and download the readings, store them as pdfs or print them out. My GP is happy to advise me based on the readings from the device. It also comes with two leads and sticky pads that you can use if you want a recording with less noise on it.
It's about 50% more expensive than the basic Kardia on Amazon.
I'm not sure whether you've mentioned what symptoms you experience when in AF, but if you only have mild infrequent symptoms you will hopefully find that medication gives sufficient relief.
Best wishes
Paul
Hi, I have connected my Kardia to at least 3 successive Samsung phones without problem, latest is S22Perhaps there was something wrong with the Kardia?
