Ventricular Bigeminy
Hi all, I hope everyone is doing okay. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever, or is suffering from ventricular bigeminy? That is my current diagnosis, and it started out of nowhere in November last year. I have episodes that last for weeks. My last episode lasted for 8 weeks and my ecg shows my atria

cardiology referral…don’t know why
since covid in 2021, I get a heart rate of 200+ during certain exercises (I am fit and healthy and now scale exercises to avoid this). Previously when speaking to GP they brushed it off as long covid. Now two years later i did running and box steps ups- my hr went to 200+ with some chest tightness. I

Slow recovery and set backs after angiogram and stent
I had an angiogram and stent inserted in late July after three weeks of angina. It was diagnosed as uncontrolled angina, it came on rapidly over three weeks and got worse very quickly. I suspected that is what it was and was happy with what was done and how quickly they did it, arrived 10am, stent inserted

Sensitive - How long does it take to get a negative pregnancy test after miscarriage?
Hi all, I took medication for a miscarriage on Dec 23rd (due to a empty 3cm sac). I was told the hcg pregnancy test should be negative 3 weeks after, which will be Saturday. I took the HCG test this morning and the test line is still almost as dark as the control. I was expecting the test to be negative

Flare confirmed with PET scan
This is an update which I promised from my previous post and I have some questions at the end. About a month ago I reported that I had stopped Tocilizumab and I was waiting to see if the GCA had gone into remission. I had no GCA symptoms and no eye problems confirmed by the ophthalmologist. I felt better

Mad and sad
Yesterday we had a phone call from our holiday company. Due to travel on Saturday 9th on a luxury coach tour ending up in the Italian Dolomites Little Steam Train tour.Called to say our coach has been downgraded and we can have 350 pounds compensation. This coach is not suitable for my husbands mobility

Breathlessness update
Thanks to the advice you gave me about other reasons for breathlessness than the Pred. I saw a senior GP in the same practice yesterday. He listened and checked my chest and heart and has organised an x-ray, blood tests and ECG and heart muscle test because he thinks it might be mild Atrial Frib.

Why not give Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as Adjunctive Therapy a Try?
I am thinking this will likely be my last post, unless something dramatic shakes out. Remember LTC CHESTY PULLER'S, USMC, comment, Battle of the Chosin Resvoir, North Korea, 1950. "The bas..... are in front of us and at our rear. They are on our right flank and our left flank. They won't get

Update on Cholesterol
Hi Everyone! Just thought I'd share a small but positive update on my previous posts. I had some tests ran earlier in the year due to family history of heart problems, My ECG, Echo and CT Angiogram/ Calcium score was all good, my only negative was some follow up bloods I got done around the same time

Weaker left ventricle function (LVEF)
Hello all. I had a routine ECG for something else and they picked up I have a weaker left ventricle function(LV EF). This is 45-50% and apparently 'normal' is 50-75%. I am a very fit 50 year old woman, I have no symptoms - feel fit as a fiddle!. I have no background history of that might be causing this

So I'm in hospital.. (first ever overnighter)
So following my last post things haven't got better (obviously). Went on a UK holiday with family for a week and had a few incidents. Crazy high heart rate, chest pains, panic attacks. Visited emergency care centre whilst away and after an ECG they suggested that I need a cardio appointment. Went to

How do you know if you are still in sinus rhythm
I had my first Cardioversion two days ago. I had three shocks to get my heart back into sinus rythmn. I thought I would feel much better but to be honest I feel just the same. I still have palpitations, still feel like I have run a marathon by the end of the day. I think I might have skipped back

Slow rising HCG… 6 weeks
Hello, To update since my last post, I’m currently 6+3 with painfully slow rising HCG… Need some positive stories that are similar to mine as I can’t bear this limbo! I transferred x2 day 7 embryos on the 4th Dec via FET. My betas have been as follows: 15.12 - 11dp7dt - 33 18.22 - 14dp7dt - 56
