Hi all, I had my second injection of this new cheaper drug last Wednesday after being on Enbrel for over 2 years. A short while after it I started feeling a tingling sensation in the lower part of the left side of my face!!This lasted about 4 days. I now after to go the hospital to have the next injection

Where did the sunshine go!@*$
I'm on fire again with the weather change. There is not a bit of me that's not hurting right now despite enbrel jab and tylex yesterday. Looks like a bike ride to get the endorphines going! I'm completing two motiffs a day just to see how the day improves (or not!) My daughters dog is whining so will

Syringes VS Pre-Filled Pens
Hello! I'm new to this site and am not sure how things work around here :) I was just wondering if anyone here has medication that is administered via injection and if you have tried pre-filled pens or syringes? I currently take enbrel once a week via pre-filled pen, but as someone who hates needles

Delay in delivery of Enbrel
Is anyone else having to wait for their Enbrel delivery? Health Care at Home say they are waiting for the perscription from the hospital, I have had no luck chasing it up. This happened 6 months ago and I missed two weeks injections I must say it didn't really effect me, but I get very nervous that my

Change is in the air. New drug
Hi All Following on from a recent visit to my consultants my Enbrel (Eterercept) will be changed to Benepali, a biosimilar which is cheaper the Enbrel. I've been on Enbrel since 2005 and Methotrexate for the last two years lets hope the new one works as well. As to the weather and arthritis. I can attest

Ankylosing Spondylitis and Enbrel
I had to have a break from taking Enbrel for personal reasons and since going back on it I have found a remarkable improvement in my symptoms. I was at breaking point with the pain at Easter and although I was reluctant to make the decision to commence treatment again I am so glad that I did. My quality

Insurance denials
I am wondering how many have had trouble with insurance companies denying tests and specific treatments ordered/prescribed by rheumatologist? I was diagnosed with AS in March, and so far only on pred and methotrexate which isn't helping. Insurance denying biologics like Enbrel. I am at my wits end. Can't

Update on me!
Went to appt yesterday and got a registrar, never happy seeing them. Anyway they are going to try me on humira which they hope to have approved in about 6 weeks. I hope it has the same non side effects that enbrel had as I hate having to try and work through side effects. I asked about what I can do

Is my Enbrel failing? or is this normal?
Is there anyone on here who is just on Enbrel, and no other medications except occasional nsaids? Is it normal when you are Enbrel to have occasional breakthrough disease activity or are you supposed to be completely symptom free, all the time? I am having this occasional muted disease activity, where

Getting mucked about with H C @Home and Enbrel delivery!
There I am ticking along nicely about 8 months into my first Biologic Enbrel backed up with 400mg of Hydroxychloroquine daily. Getting my deliveries once a month and organised it finally with Health Care at Home that my delivery ties in with my days off from work abroad. Consultant pleased at last appointment

Zlatal Methotrexate Injections
I've just received a letter from my hospital telling me that they are going to change my injections to Zlatal Methotrexate. In the letter it says that at the moment my normal MTX is an unlicensed preparation and that new pharmaceutical legislation states they should prescribe a preparation with a product

Enbrel... My miracle
I can't explain how excited I am... I just had my second enbrel dose and my second very positive reaction. Last week following my injection, I scrubbed grout. That's right, on my hands and knees scrubbing grout. Along with a million other chores I haven't been well enough to do in years... Sadly I think
