New medication. Starting on the biologics. Enbrel or entracept other name of benapil
OK so I had my rhuemy appointment brought forward due to bad flare ups and just no relief from the pain of RA. My nurse has decided to try me out on biologics. I am currently on sulfasalaxine and hydroxychloroquine. Gonna add the biologic benapil. I have had blood test and chest xray. Awaiting results

Taking injections abroad
Hi. I'm currently on Enbrel injections that you mix yourself ( syringe & vial). We would like to go abroad but as they have to be kept cold ( in a fridge) I wondered if anyone else is on these and has been on holiday abroad. If so, how do you cope taking them e.g. hand luggage or hold. How do you manage

Changing from enbrel to erelzi thoughts
Hi everyone I’m just asking if anyone on enbrel has been told you need to change onto a new brand of injection called erelzi (I think) I’ve been told it works exactly the same as enbrel and that it will help cut costs on the nhs. What do you think? I’m a bit concerned about it as I’ve been on enbrel

Does anyone split Enbrel dose? Example 25mg twice weekly.
Hi all! After 4 years on Enbrel I've recently started to get a bad all day long headache(sometimes migraine)on the day after I inject the "My click" pen. I can only shift this headache with a Celebrex(my occasional big guns pain relief)Nothing else touches it. It's a once a week thing lately on the day

Is anyone taking Erelzi?
Hi, I have been on Enbrel for about 7 years and have recently been told I am being switched to an alternative called Erelzi. It is sitting in my fridge right now waiting until I have used my last two Enbrel. Had a delay because I have been suffering from the cold cough virus thingy going round, so no

RA & Lupus - can anyone relate?
Hello, I've never been on one of these groups, or posted anything. However, I got my nerve up & thought I'd join to see if I can learn from others & share some of my experiences. I was diagnosed 22 yrs ago with RA. I've had remissions within those yrs which I'm so grateful for; but that was long ago

RA and Dirviticulitis
Have been taking Benepali for two weeks since I was taken off of Enbrel. WithThis new Benepali injection, i have developed a headache a cough and a runny nose. My RA nurse said I should stick it out as it will improve. I also have diverticulitis which makes me sensitive to some medication and food so

Infected Tooth. Best Path Forward?
Hello. After years of dentists and doctors dismissing my suspicions of a possible tooth infection, as usual my gut feeling was proven correct. Just today, it was confirmed by an endodontis that a root canal I had done many years ago is definitely infected. Which naturally leads me to wonder if this infection

Enbrel helps me!
I have been on Enbrel for over 12 years. It has helped me more than any medication I have taken for RA. I do take it in my leg. It does hurt some but worth the pain to be mobile again. I've never had stomach problems taking Enbrel. Make sure your stomach ailments are not from something else going

Plauquenil and Enbrel spells trouble?
I’ve been on plaquenil for 12 months. 5 weeks ago I started Enbrel. I’ve had nausea and a irritable colon since I started. After my injection (evening) I wake up with intense nausea and multiple urgent trips to the bathroom. Anyone else had this and does anything help? The Enbrel is helping so I need

Will any medication ever help ?
This is my 4th biologic (Orencia) and getting ready to start on my 3rd DMARD (Sulfasalazine). I have been on Methotrexate, Enbrel, Cimzia, Leflunomide and Actemra. Nothing has helped. Last 2 days I can hardly walk because of the pain in my hip. RA is a nasty thing. All i want to do is cry from this
