Insurance denials

I am wondering how many have had trouble with insurance companies denying tests and specific treatments ordered/prescribed by rheumatologist? I was diagnosed with AS in March, and so far only on pred and methotrexate which isn't helping. Insurance denying biologics like Enbrel. I am at my wits end. Can't live on prednisone and, unfortunately, my job is very physically demanding. Am afraid I am going to lose it.
