The daily struggle
So I did the three weeks of prednisone, stopped it last Thursday and now, Monday night here, I am in a world of pain and can hardly walk again. I guess the enbrel really has stopped working. So three weeks until I see the Rheumy and I guess I suffer until then, falling asleep at work, being in excruciating

Hi guys, hope you're all well. I'm 34 & was diagnosed with RA when I was 22, mainly affected by my right toes & both knees. I had an X Ray on both knees & it's just bone on bone now. They won't give me knee replacements until the disease calms down, as I've been told it's pretty high. I've recently been

Has anyone been switched to a bio similar.
I have been on Enbrel for 8 years now and it works well for me. I have just been asked to switch to a bio similar which of course is cheaper. Has anyone else switched? Have you found any difference?

RD vs. Dermatomyositis
Has any one of my good friends here been tested/diagnosed with dermatomyositis? I have always wondered if my RD diagnosis was off target, especially being sero-negative. I am on Enbrel and very much under good pain control, but my new Rheumatologist did a thorough exam and noticed that my hands were

Hey There
Hey there I am a 52 year old woman that was diagnosed with RA about 2 years ago. It has been up and down since then trying to get different medicines to work. Right now I am on methotrexate and enbrel. I have had 1 month in these two years that I actually felt normal, but back to pain and fatigue.

Hi guys At hospital today for DAS only to find my baselines had been done and it's time to move to next phase. Had education for Enbrel, I know it's works well for a lot of people but kind of frightening stuff, I'm unsure about it Need to put my mind at ease I guess and googling it isn't going to

RA HEALING JOURNEY
It's nice to see I'm not alone! I'm 43 and was diagnosed with RA 3 years ago. I've always had fatigue but dr's chalked it up to being a single mother. I've always been active and ran and did sprint triathlon the. One day I was running and almost fell down. My legs just wouldn't work. Then I got hit by

I have the cold from hell, and I'm missing medications because of it
To be more specific WE (Kelly Matthew and I) all have the cold from hell. I had chest x-rays, but it doesn't sound like they found anything urgent. Lila, my gp's nurse is trying to get results before the long weekend, and said that the delay in response is a good thing. She's an amazing person; I'm really

Enbrel and exhaustion
Has anyone else had debilitating fatigue with Enbrel? I'm also kind of breathy, which might be sexy if it sounded less like I'm about to fall over. Any suggestions on how to cope with it? I've tried cussing, the universal cure, but so far no luck. Seriously, fairly short walks I've done with ease require

Med changes
For those who've been wondering where I am, I apologize. In January my gp increased my anti-depressant (doubled it) in an attempt to get better pain control. Not a good idea. I became actively suicidal, I had a plan, a time, and I only barely managed to tell my beloveds . I spent six weeks in the psych

Fed up
Had a chest infection recently, two lots of antibiotics, so off Enbrel. Now have another chest infection and on second antibiotics, off Enbrel for three weeks now. So fed up with the pain especially in my hands and feet, the new antibiotics are strong and make me feel nauseated. Sorry to be so miserable

Injections - which one?
Hi so I've seen my Rheumi nurse and despite the steroid injection my DAS scores were high enough to qualify for biological treatment. But which one? I know the forum members cannot give medical advice (frankly I have that coming out my ears) I need some help with the medication it effects people in their

Started Enbrel
Hi everyone, Hope everyone is having a good day. After a long wait due to infections, I finally had my first Enbrel injection yesterday and seems to be having a good effect already! This morning for the first time in a long time I was able to walk downstairs without the excruciating pain :) I'm so excited
