Blood test for Embrel injections

How often should you have blood test if taken Enbrel injections. I have been taken it now for 6 months ,it's helping me an I have no side effects .

I have them every 12 weeks and have been on it for over 4 year. It is because they need to know your inflamation score to see if I still need it and to make sure it not harming you in any way and also renew my prescription for enbrel.

I have mtx and Enbrel injections and have blood tests every 8 weeks. It is necessary to monitor things like liver function, blood cell counts etc to make sure there is no damage. I have been on it for over 6 years and it has worked really well for me .

I have been on Enbrel for eight years and my consultant only requires a blood test once a year

Your rheumatologist will run liver function tests to see if you are able to handle the drug. May also run a CBC if you have health problems. However, after 4 years on it, I don't think this is good enough. I would much rather the doc run all blood levels vs. time. Some of these blood normals may not even give the whole story. What if we're not used to a low normal WBC, for example?

Oh and also CRP and sed rates to see if you are inflammed.

I have them every , week, two weeks, month, or six weeks. Between anaemia, neutropenia and kidney failure I'm like a pin cushion. By the way on Enbrel for eight years, it's been a great drug for my RD x

I've been on Enbrel for eight months now and I have blood tests every eight weeks at my GP's surgery.

I did do blood tests every month on Enbrel for the first year, now I do them every two months.
