Since egg retrieval I’ve been on Cyclogest and feeling sooo bloated and uncomfortable with abdo pain. I feel like the stomach distension/pain is taking my breath away, and I’m having

However I've read that if you fall pregnant, it can worsen OHSS. So does this mean my transfer has failed since my OHSS symptoms seem to be improving? To reiterate my transfer was yesterday so very early days and I took my last cabergoline last night. Many thanks!

They still don’t know why I had OHSS last time, no one can tell me why as egg numbers weren’t big & the stims dose was standard.

Waves of nausea (not sure If im going to be sick or need the toilet but constipated) bloating, terrible aching at the bottom of my stomach… is it possible to have OHSS with little response in follicles? Is there anything I can take for constipation that is allowed? Thanks

I'm worried about OHSS. Has anybody done a fresh after retrieving a high amount of eggs and been fine? Would it be safer to freeze and wait for a FET? Thanks xx

Hello everyone I had a scan yesterday following my EC on Monday and there is small amount of fluid around my ovaries, the consultant confirmed it’s not OHSS because my ovaries are normal size still but I was wondering is this normal ? Has anyone experienced it ?

The clinic say I’m at high risk of OHSS too so if anyone has any tips to deflate I’d really appreciate it🙏 or if anyone has a similar experience, how painful was OHSS and what should I watch out for?

We are doing FET's after having to do a freeze all for high OHSS risk. I expected to start again next cycle bit clinic day you have to have two natural bleeds. Again the communication with them is appalling and I'm constantly chasing for information but just wondered what the usual protocol is?

I know severe OHSS is quite rare, so now I feel like I can anything can happen!!!! Thank you all

I'm wondering if I can ask if anyone with stage 4 endo, adeno and a frozen pelvis with other complications has ever had ohss with IVF?

A friend said it was awful, but she had OHSS so maybe that affected it. Thanks in advance

Hi all, After going through OHSS I am now finally on my first frozen egg transfer and currently at 7DP5DT. I am currently experiencing my usual period cramps and after some clarity as to whether this means it has been unsuccessful. They have been intermittent for the past two days.

Hi all, My long protocol ivf cycle was cancelled at the end of November due to risk of OHSS. We have our next appt tomorrow morning and they have said we can try short protocol ivf this time. However, my last period was on 30 November, it was really light and last about 5 days.

I’ve had my first egg collection, but due to high risk OHSS, then unrelated medical issues I’m having a gap before my first FET. We have male factor infertility, so I’ve been told I can do a natural FET. But I’m wondering how natural is natural? Is it no drugs at all, or a limited number/ time?

Is it due to the OHSS? I've read it can cause hcg levels to be lower and increase more slowly due to the amount of fluid in your body, anyone any experience of this? Having weak positives due to OHSS and successful pregnancy? Is it chemical? Or would that have been negative by now 6 days on?

Now I’m due in tomorrow to have a review and see if I’m at risk for OHSS and might not be able to do a fresh transfer. Out of 25, 15 fertilised and I had my day 3 call today to be told only 4 made it to day 3. Now I feel so disheartened that none will make it to day 5.

Currently in my 11th wk of pregnancy and still suffering with OHSS which started a week after embryo transfer (I had nearly 4 litres of fluid drained at that point).

I’m on blood thinners (aspirin and Clexane) and Cabergoline to help reduce ohss

I was discharged from hospital a week ago after a 3 nights stay for fairly severe OHSS. I am currently 7 weeks pregnant with twins (although one was measuring a week behind at the scan last week ☹️). Earlier today, the pain started again in my side and into my back.
