Tinitus and estrogen..is there a link?
Tinitus and a oestrogen...is there a link? So i recently read about women going through menopause and a rise in tinitus linked to the lack of estrogen being produced.. I wonder if there is a link to low estrogen production before menstruation and worsening tinitus? Any thoughts on this? X

Flaxseed -pro or con or does it depend on your status
Not necessarily a very reliable site since they have conflicts of interest. However, the discussion of estrogens and flaxseed is of interest. https://www.goldenflax4u.com/category-s/43.htm This doctor believes that flaxseed consumption helps prevent tumors from spreading: https://sperlingprostatecenter.com

Treatment for endometriosis if estrogen is not an option?
My daughter has been newly diagnosed with endometriosis. She is not keen on having the Mirena coil (initial recommendation) so the the doctor wanted to put her on the pill to stop progression but it transpired she cannot take it because of migraines and the associated risk. Now the doctor is saying

Oestrogen levels plateaued during stimming
Hi all, Has anyone had the experience of their oestrogen levels plateauing whilst stimming? I’m on day 13 today, of my 3rd cycle, and was supposed to be triggered tonight but after my bloods they discovered my oestrogen levels had plateaued so I’ve been put on a higher dose of meds for two more days

Has anyone here carried on taking oestrogen (and progesterone) after a FET?
Hi all, I have just had a FET (it is not my first) after a short protocol and this time the clinic has asked me to carry on taking oesteogen as well as progesterone at least until pregnancy test- I am sure that with the previous transfers I just carried on with the progesterone only. I did ask the clinic

Hello my fellow endo sufferers, For the last 6 years I have struggled with Endo. Well obviously at first I thought I was going crazy and dying of something. Finally after my lovely doc had some training she asked me to go see the endo nurse, who booked me in immediately. So, how did they know I had

Oestrogen Patches & Lubion Injections for FET
Next frozen cycle I’m going to be using Oestrogen patches & adding Lubion injections from day of transfer. I was just wondering how others have managed doing the 2 together as I’ve been advised to use the patches on my stomach below the belly button (the patches are pretty big) but also advised to inject

When to stop estrogen after FET.
Hi ladies, I'm 5wks pregnant after frozen 5 day transfer. Have been on 4x2mg estrodial and was told to stop when I hear a heartbeat at my 6wk scan. Is this not too early? How long have any of you ladies been on them after a successful cycle? TIA x

BAT, dutasteride, and my search for truth, Part 2 of 2
I believe it was Patrick who said “When 5alpha-reductase acts on T to produce DHT, this kicks off production of an enzyme to clear DHT from the cell. DHT has a very narrow window in which to promote growth. One of the metabolites of DHT is an estrogen - 3beta-adiol - which happens to be the natural

Contraception to reduce endo
What contraception would you advise to reduce the chance of endo growing back? I can’t have oestrogen as my mum had breast cancer. I’m very susceptible to hormones and find they have my mood quite a lot. Don’t want to go on hormones again but have been told it’s the only way to reduce the chances of

Alarming blood results. Worried sick!
Hi I’ve just turned 47 and am on my sixth year of Merina Coil. I love it and haven’t had a period for 6 years now! Over the last few months I’ve felt quite anxious for no reason, had trouble sleeping and getting hot flashes on and off. None of my symptoms have been severe, but the sleeping was distressing

HRT effects on thyroxine absorption.
I'm on
oestrogel
and progesterone. Can this be having an effect on my thyroxine absorption? My blood test results before I started HRT : T4 18.9 (9-25) TSH 0.29 (0.2-5.0) Should I be applying oestrogen at different time to taking thyroxine?

6dp5d FET and counting myself out 😫
We had a five day FET last Tuesday 10/11/2020 and it seemed to go ok. It’s our fourth transfer (one fresh double, one FET double, one FET single). Our very first was a chemical and the others non-starters. I did all the others back to back but we took a break of six months before starting this one. The

Immune Anxiety Response
I'm becoming really frustrated with some strange symptoms I get from time to time. Please bear with me and if anyone out there gets anything similar, it would be a huge relief to hear from you. Just before coming down with a virus, I experience an increased heart rate and anxiety. I was out walking in

Estrogen for natural pregnancy
Hey 👋 been a wee while since I last asked a question. My son is now two from a FET & I have a natural thin lining. We are now going to try for baby #2, and was thinking that my thin lining may stand in the way resulting in using another frozen embryo that I have in storage. Just a thought but has anyone
