Has anyone here carried on taking oestrogen (and progesterone) after a FET?

Hi all,

I have just had a FET (it is not my first) after a short protocol and this time the clinic has asked me to carry on taking oesteogen as well as progesterone at least until pregnancy test- I am sure that with the previous transfers I just carried on with the progesterone only. I did ask the clinic before leaving this afternoon after the procedure and the confirmed I have to carry on taking both oestrogen and progesterone but now I am

freaking out. I didn’t ask them why. It is too late to ring them now (I will ring them tomorrow morning first thing), but in the meantime I wanted to ask here if anyone had to do the same? Thank you...This clinic has messed me about in the past and I just want to make sure I get things right.

Yes I’ve always carried on taking both x progesterone till 12 weeks and oestrogen till positive heartbeat. X

Yes I'm on Cyclogest (progesterone) and Prognova (oestrogen) - I was told to continue this to OTD, then as positive, up to 12 weeks. I think it's to maintain the lining. With a frozen transfer I think the natural processes are turned off. Good luck 💖🤞🍀x

Thank you, you are putting my mind at rest, I think my last frozen transfer was a natural one so I think that is why I am getting confused...
