Has anyone here tried SpoGest-IB probiotic?
Does it work for UC like what they advertised? I'm 46 now and have been living with Ulcerative Colitis for 12 years and experiencing bouts of diarrhea on and off for a long time. I'm currently on Octasa 800mg and want to know if this probiotic can be used alongside my current meds. Any recommendations

Unopened mescaline tablets
First of all as anyone else suffered with this.I am currently on the maximum dosage of octasa tabs, but recently over the last few weeks I’ve had occasions where up to two pills have been unopened in the first stool movement of the day. To boost the missing pills ive taken salafalk enema and suppository

Ulcerative colitis flares
Just asking a question regarding my wife's flare. She's on octasa 6x800mg a day and at the moment also as a enama at night. She's had UC for about 3 years , had the occasional blip but nothing like what she's going through now. The pain, the wind the stomach cramps are leaving her severely distressed

I am new here having finally been diagnosed with Crohn’s Colitis having previously told it was Ulcerated Colitis
A belated Merry Christmas everyone. I have finally had it confirmed that I have Crohn’s Colitis but am struggling with a very bad flare up which, so far, has lasted nine weeks. My GP doubled my medication to 4800 mg of Octasa (Mesalazine) a day but, after two weeks, it doesn’t seem to have had any

Pembrolizumab & possibility of U. Colitis recurrence?
I have just been approved for Pembrolizumab, but the only worry the oncologist had was that it could cause U. Colitis to flare up. I had U. Colitis & sepsis in autumn 2015, and my GE had it under control within a few months using Octasa 800 - He told me to stay on two per day as a maintenance dose, and

No Flu Jab!
I have just been refused a free flu jab by the receptionist at my GP Surgery. I have had them for the last four years. I have RD and take Methotrexate and Humeria, I also live with my son who has Pan Ulcerative Colitis and takes Azathioprine and Octasa AMINOSALICYLATES (5-ASAS). Why? Are we not

Advice on medication please
I was diagnosed with Colitis in may 2016, i was put on Octasa (Mesalazine) 1200mg taken twice a day. Since then i haven't had any further attacks. Has anyone been able to reduce their medication or even been able to come off it completely. Maybe it's the medication that keeps symptoms at bay. Thank you
