I have been experiencing blood in stools since around Christmas last year had a colonoscopy and was diagnosed with colitis, put in octasa mesalazine didn’t really work, then I read that granules are better so ask the doctor to change my medication to petasa granules, high dose for 1 week now on 2 sachets a day. I know it’s early days but the blood has stopped and I can actually see my 💩. Just wanted to share
Best wishes to you all

I haven’t been checked out recently but did have a colonoscopy earlier in the year, I am with Bupa but then had to go back to NHS after diagnosis but due to the virus gastroenterologist team are not taking on any new patients so am with my doctor at the mo , he hasn’t suggested that I see him just agreed with me to try the granules.
