My imunoglobulin g is 4.08 .... very low? What's your opinion ? It looks like doesn't want to go up ! Still taking monthly Octagam .

5% or 10% Octagam? Might discuss weekly subcutaneous IgG infusion with your CLL doctor. They tend to flatten the hills and valleys that some CLL patients experience.. and it gets them off the rollercoaster... 🎢

If you are not getting continuous bacterial infections, your current treatment may be giving you enough protection, no matter what the IgG count level...

Don't know if 5 or 10%... didn't get a cold or flu until now

You are still going to get some colds and flu even with normal IgG levels... as in a heathy person...😃

The other issue we have is our IgA is usually low as well as our IgM, the former protects the respiratory passages and the later are first responders to pathogens...

So we will never have a normal immune system... we are immunocompromised.

As part of the NIH CAR-T protocol my wife gets IVIG when her IgG falls below 400. For the last 3 years she has needed an IVIG infusion every 4 months.
