Encouraging results after two months on ADT
In my initial post, I explained details of my case. In short, diagnosed in October, Stage 4, bone Mets, PSA 15. Lupron shot and started Zytiga November 17. PSA mid-December dropped to 0.47, and I've been feeling really good. Intermittent sciatica, but no pain many days. Eating healthy, physical therapy

UPDATE On 92yr old Friend and Lupron...
Quick recap: Urologist wanted to start Lupron without even re-running labs or an MRI, when we refused the Urologist was pissed and sent us back to MO. Today we had a consult w/Dr. Nick Vogelzang (after a 3T MRI) and he completely agreed with that decision as there are no Mets and the tumor in the prostate

Lu PSMA treatment updates
I’ve had a few requests for me to report on my Lu PSMA treatment. I was diagnosed a year ago with metastatic PCa, and my reaction to Degerelix and Lupron soon revealed that it was already castration resistant. I’ve been through most SOC treatments and started Lu-PSMA in November through the early access

Hello Again
Hi Gents, I was a member here for a long time and switched to the Advanced Cancer Group. The posts on that group can get very depressing. In a nutshell: I have had this disease over 16 years. I have been on Erleada + Lupron + Xgeva for 3 years now. I can’t get it up. I have been single for about a decade

Northern Ohio Medicare question
Happy TGIF my friends. Well, the day has finally come that my wonderful wife is contemplating retirement. Her insurance has been incredible but now I must begin the long awaited process of shopping for Medicare Part B & D and any other letter that helps keep costs of treating this disease to a minimum

Intermittent ADT
2015 - PSA 6.0, Gleason 4+3=7. Prostatectomy, 40 radiation treatments and 7 months Lupron. PSA was soon undetectable. Stayed that way until 2020. It slowly increased to 7.3 in 2021. Ga68PSMA and Auxumin (?) Pet scans all showed nothing. Started on Firmagon. PSA went to undetectable within two weeks.

PSA slowly going down.
Uro just called with my PSA results, going down they have no explanation for this. My PSA has been going up slowly since 11/2018. PSA reached 0.23 in 7/2021, in 10/2021 PSA was 0.22. Today my PSA was 0.19. I have been on lupron since 3/2017, 3 month injections. They could not give my a reason why

Eight is enough?
Reflecting on this year, made me recall that old TV series. My own family is small. My wife and I live on a small farm where we nurture dozens of animal "children". We have one son, our most treasured gift; and, at 21, he is still finding his way in the world with a kind heart and a gentle nature that

Marajuiana-CBD Oil
This is Banana1948. My PSA is .008 after being on Lupron since October 2020. What are the benefits to me if I start taking CBD Oil please? Or is there a time after my PSA increases to start taking it? I keep my profile up to date.
