This is Banana1948. My PSA is .008 after being on Lupron since October 2020. What are the benefits to me if I start taking CBD Oil please? Or is there a time after my PSA increases to start taking it? I keep my profile up to date.

Not sure of the benefits CBD oil as related to the cancer, it helps with anxiety. I use THC to sleep. If you are looking for a cure you should look elsewhere
Nothing is a cure though I did have some anecdotal immediate direct pain success early on with 400mg of CBD oil daily. For ME the main benefit is better sleep, less anxiety, less pain. Have dropped back to maintenance dose of 50mg CBD daily.
I have migraine since rear end auto accident years ago. THC lozenges, 5-10mg as needed help MY head pain some.
I'm just looking for tolerable pain relief and not expecting a PCa cure.

Age 73, stage 4a, about to begin my third round of Lupron. And it's THC for me.
I take 1gm of cannabis a day. I bake it into a loaf of keto cannabread, and eat a small piece twice a day, one just after waking, one before going to sleep. It helps reduce pain, anxiety, and fatigue, and it helps me sleep.
No, of course it's not a cure. But it's good medicine.
CBD oil would be for pain. I don't think it would have any direct effect on cancer.
I get lots of info re:Cbd/Thc and prostate cancer from Cannibus Kills Cancer on Facebook. I’ve taken Abiraterone Acetate aka Zytigs for almost 2yrs, PSA is steady for six months at .1. Good results but at some point I plan to switch to medical marijuana with the info from C.K.C.
I have been using 1:1 THC/CBD and Rick Simpson formula (100% THC) for over two years. For sure, I sleep better and I feel heathier. I feel it improves my imune system. I also use CBD oil on my hair and it make my hair more black. I used to have about 30% grey hair on my head but there is only about 10% grey today.
It's inconclusive about the benefits of 'medical' cannabis while there are sources that promote its use for 'political' reasons.
There are known benefits for 'some' such as pain management and appetite BUT there are some past reports that say that some 'patients' respond adversely to CBD and or THC.
I decided to QUIT 'medicinal' cannabis about 1 year ago, because there was NO evidence, in my case, that there was a sustained benefit.
In fact, I had a recurrence and CBT didn't affect my PSA (except perhaps elevate it ?).
I quit CBD/THC after the recurrence and am now undetectable - 5 1/2 - going onto 6 years since the original Dx.
I started out as G9 / N1 / M0 / PSA 200+.
I grew my own medicinal cannabis and made oil out of it - this year I have chosen to drop my LEGAL growing license after years of experimentation.
There is still more research to be done, but clinical trials are the way to go and in the USA, that isn't happening due to politics and economics.
Other countries are advancing the science - the USA is resisting it.
This is simply an opinion of course - wishing you well on your journey .....
It certainly can't hurt. THC, CBD, CBG (Cannabigerol) have all shown anti-cancer effects in studies. CBG is linked to stronger bones, pain relief etc. too. CBD and THC help with sleep & pain. For me cannabis is a great adjunct to conventional treatments and has preserved my sight over a lifetime of congenital glaucoma and helps with pain from severe arthritis. THC also offers a little euphoria and who can't benefit from a little uplift when fighting serious illness day in/day out?

The cannabinoids from CBD and THC feed our body's endocannabinoid system. That system is basic to most and will help build your immune system. That produces the positive effects listed above. While not a silver bullet, it's an important tool in our healing arsenal.
