Atorvastatin and colchicine interaction
Used to take ibuprofen to tackle inflammation but since heart issues I’ve been told to avoid
NSAIDS
. So figured I’d suffer the pain and wait for the gout to run it’s course. Usually my attacks don’t last much more than a week. Not this one.

Candesartan Covid 19
Unsure about news reports, that are somewhat sketchy to say the least, about NSAID's Candesartan being one. Do I fall into the category of risk as its the only migraine medication I can take due to other medications that cannot be discontinued ?? I currently have a dry throat thats sore, slight cough

No
nsaids
, only Tylenol... lots of water. My paresthesia is fine with Plaquenil and high dose of Gabapentin daily. Also diagnosed with Tardish Dyskinesia from so many years of psych meds. Taking Austedo for it. Waiting for the movement to stop. That's about it for now.

Nsaids and IBD
Hi everyone, last April I was diagnosed with Microscopic colitis. After a course of Budesonide, I have thankfully felt very well. Trouble is a couple of days ago I started to suffer from Sciatica...and it's agony. I tried Paracetamol, but it didn't touch the pain. Yesterday in desperate need of some

Severe joint pain while on Zytiga + dexamethasone + temazepam (for insomnia from dexamethasone) along with xofigo and xgeva
Has anyone else experienced odd severe joint pain that moves around, comes/goes and doesn't respond to OTC
NSAIDs
or Tylenol? Fast acting OXY 5s help, but can't take them due to possible serious interaction with the temazepam.

NSAID’s a no no for pain relief?
Had a sudden, unexpected cardiac arrest two and half years ago age 65. Had two stents fitted. Now fully recovered and very active again. Got severe, very painful tendinitis in foot. Are NSAID’s e.g. Naproxen or Ibrabrufen out of the question for reducing pain and inflammation? If so what alternatives

Possible Crohns Diagnosis (please help!)
The consultant doing the procedure asked if I take a lot of
NSAIDs
, which I don't but he did not seem to overly concerned. He took some biopsies and I am still waiting on the results for this.

Afib and sam-e
Heart doctor doesn't like celecoxib and other
nsaids
, says they have heart health risks. I recently read that sam-e works as well as celecoxib. But, it has a risk of afib. Would appreciate any insights anybody has regarding sam-e and afib?

Ibuprofen safe?
Hi Everyone, I know I am not supposed to take
NSAIDs
, but sometimes ibuprofen is the only medicine that works for severe joint and muscle pain. Tylenol does nothing for it. My doc says occasional use of ibuprofen is okay. Does anyone know if 2 ibuprofen a couple of times a week is safe for PBCers?

CKD
I have just been diagnosed with ckd and was wondering could it have been cause by my near death sepsis experience in 2014 (when my kidney's started to shut down) or my long term hypertension or the
nsaids
taken in the past for my osteoarthritis?

New Pain in Hip and Groin
I cannot take
NSAIDS
as they cause problems with my stomach. I left a message for my GP on Friday to ask if he could prescribe some fast acting morphine. Didn't get back to me which is nothing new! I am also concerned about the MRI.

HIV THROUGH KISSING BUT I BUSTED A LIP WHILE KISSING HIM
I was having sex with my friend (not fuck body; a legitimate friend) and we were kissing a little rough when he scratched my top lip. There was blood, I tasted blood, and I know it is my blood because I located the scratch. Is there any risk here? We both engage in sex with a male. I'm HIV negative.

Aspirin May Prevent Air Pollution Harms.
A new study is the first to report evidence that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (
NSAIDs
) like aspirin may lessen the adverse effects of air pollution exposure on lung function.

Allergic reaction to topical NSAID, not Afib!
I was lucky enough to ask a question during one of those and he confirmed that it was indeed possible for topical
NSAIDs
to create an Afibk-like event. That was the confirmation that I was looking for.
