Eligard for me= poison
When getting Eligard shots after prostatectomy and radiation it was holding PSA level down. It also turned my thoughts angry and disgruntled. Doctor Larock from Mattapoisett is treating me with Flutamide and Bicalutimide 1 pill day each. Thanks Jesus I can write this and feel pretty good for 75. Eligard

Nodules on prostate
I’m 70. I recently had another colonoscopy; the report added something about nodules on the prostate. I have annual urologist exams; my PSA 2 years ago was 0.6. Last year was 0.5 (admittedly I did not know you should refrain from orgasm 2 days before blood draw). Urologist said 0.5 is fantastic, no

Hi Fellow PC warriors, Since my PSA is undetectable, less than 0.01, and I’m otherwise in good health with stage 4 and mets throughout, my urologist suggests I go from 3 month injections intervals to every 6 months. He mentioned that the side effects are similar and the only change is going from

Erleda and Memory Issues
I’ve noticed that since my dad has started Erleda 4 months ago, his memory almost immdiatly started declining. He is aware and frusterated by this as well. Eligard shot started in August— memory was not effected by that, or no immediately. But the Erleda is immediate. Has anyone else had this

And so it goes.
I didn't want to write this maybe because I won't have to admit it until I wrote it down - but I owe it to you guys. So after radiation and 2 yrs of ADT/Zytiga where my PSA was undetectable - i went on a vacation. Then my PSA started to come back - I had an initial PETscan in October 2022 which showed

Checkpoint inhibitor after PARPi - anybody?
I have been on Olaparib for 2 years, but PSA is rising. We know PARPi upregulates PD-L1 - thus priming the cells? Has anybody tried Pembro after Olaparib?

PSMA PET and PSA
Hi, my Dad was diagnosed with PC 2 years ago, had Radiation and has been on Lupron, Abiraterone and Prednisone ever since. Recently he had a PSMA PET that reads: “The prostate gland has decreased in size from 6/6/2022, now spanning 3.6 cm in transverse dimension, previously spanning 4.1 cm in transverse

Testosterone on the rise ?
Hello All , I just received my lab scores from University of Chicago . I have been <7 ng/dl for 17 months . My testosterone came in at 64 ng/dl . My PSA is still at <0.03 ng/ml . All other blood work is stable . Im freaking out here . Could this be a lab error or is this the time that it gets serious

Bloodwork after 4 weeks of SRT and 6 weeks of ADT
I started ADT 6 weeks ago and SRT 4 weeks ago. I just got my bloodwork back. My PSA went from .373 prior to treatment to .148. Is this where I should be at after these many weeks of treatment. Thank you for your answer in advance

PSA down but mets increasing?
I've been on ADT + Xtandi for about a year (see my Bio for details) and my PSA has been slowly and steadily reducing over that time - now down to 0.05. However, my 3 CT scans (last August, December and last month) are showing a slight increase each time in the size of my lymph node mets and the bone

4K test says H. What now?
Rather than undergo my 2nd biopsy (directed) I pushed for a 4K test. This was never brought up by my Urologist. The 4K test indicated a PSA of 15 - up from 13 in March and 11 in December. There was an "H" next to it, I assume indicating a high probability of cancer in the next 10 yrs. I'm curious about

Side effects from Pluvicto - Stomach - intestinal pain
Good morning Warriors: This morning I have been reading about side effects many of you are having from Pluvicto. I just finished my third infusion. My PSA has come down from 52 to 30, however, my ALP has jumped from 180 to 240. I am fortunate, that I have not had the bone pain many of you have

Was I wise
Currently on 3.5mg. Rheumatoid arthritis has shown itself in both hands and is very painful. GP said 'I could give you a steroid injection but I don't expect you want that'. I said not - the word 'steroid' frightened me as I am afraid it will be play havoc with the Pred. Was I right to reject his offer

How long does this process take?
My 2nd post and still full of questions, would like to hear from everyone. Regarding my specific case: I was told I have to do 6 months of ADT and appx 28-30 rounds of EBRT. Of course, I still don't have my PSMA/PET scan results back yet, but I'm assuming the best case scenario. Still trying to make

Should I fight for Darolutamide ?
Thank you all so far for your advice, I am here again for some more. After RT in a metastastic LN last year, I am again with a PSA 2.0, with a bunch of small LNs showing in the PET. RO gave up. I will start ADT again, this time with a 2nd generation added. I will restart Zoladex, and MO is adding Enzalutamide

New to this: travel during ADT & post EBRT?
New to this group and the Dx took me by complete surprise. I'm 76 and in excellent health - or so I thought! - and now this happens. PSA between 7 and 8 over the past year, wait and see. April PSA was 7.4 and DRE indicated a mass. MRI, biopsy followed, showing Gleason 4=3=7, Stage IIC. Did another

Trimix Problems
I'm hoping some of you guys out there can give me some good information. For background, I had a RP one year ago Wednesday. So far, so good, with stable psa and basically great continence (hooray!). The 3rd leg of the stool has been a bummer tho. I was having moderately severe ED issues prior to the

Born in 1947. As a1969 college graduation present, complements of a low draft number, I served a tour in Vietnam, on river patrol duty. I was surrounded by defoliated trees due to the use of Agent Orange and I imagine I drank a lot of AO contaminated water. Fast forward to 2012 to discover I had
