Is Fostair as good as Seretide
I was recently moved over to fostair after years of controlled asthma using seretide. I had a bad chest infection a couple of weeks ago despite having a daily dose of chlarythromicin, also for a few years. I'm a lot better now but find that I need a puff of Salamol to clear chest after taking my fostair

Hashi and allergies
Anyone with Hashi noticed they are becoming allergic to more things? I'm thinking about more than just food intolerances which seem common.

Asthma and hayfever back - confused
After a few good weeks I’m back to sneezing and wheezing again. I don’t understand - the pollen season’s supposed to be over. The only thing I can think of is thunderstorms- I think there was one overnight in London where I am. Anyone else also experiencing mysterious allergic symptoms?

Graves disease eye symptoms
I have Graves disease and have had a thyroidectomy. It has been two years. My eyes run drip water, burn, are bloodshot, terrible bags under my eyes, and sometimes ache. When I tell the doctor she says I have allergies. I have never had allergies before. It's very scary because it cannot get proper treatment

Discomfort under ribs
Hello, does anyone else get discomfort under their ribs (upper stomach) when they are reacting to pollen? It is lower down than chest tightness (mid chest) under the sternum, but disappears when I take fostair inhaler so I presume it is related to asthma? I have a lot allergies; inhaled, food and contact

Allergy specialist help
I saw an allergy specialist who has transformed my asthma and allergies. She basically needed my allergic rhinitis under control to bring down my IgE levels and then everything else would fall in line, my asthma, eczema and all over itching I get when exposed to a trigger. She’s doubled my Fluticasone

What are your experiences with allergies??
Hi everyone, Just wondered what your experiences are with allergies/intolerances. I've always been egg intolerant since I was little but over the last maybe 5-6 years and particularly the last year I've developed several. Almonds, celery, sulphites, cows milk (possible all dairy) pet fur, and more recently

Upped steroid dosage
Hello all, Following a severe allergic reaction to hydroxychloroquine, I’ve stopped taking that and my rheumatologist has told me to up my steroid dosage from 5mg a day to 15mg a day for 7 days to get the allergy under control then return to 5mg a day after the 7 days. Do I even have asthma
Hi guys. I'm hoping to find someone with a similar experience to myself. I suffer with pretty bad allergies and take a lot of medication to manage this, including the use of Montelukast (Singulair) to control the allergic wheeze (asthma). As my allergies stand, all seems to be ok and well managed for

After a break
Took a week break due to suffering from hayfever. This affected my breathing. Resumed today and took it slow. I know the program is designed to continue from where I left off but I need to listen to my body. So I went back to week4. Kinda start again to build up stamina. Legs are a bit jelly but I feel

Not built for outdoor running
So disappointed. Was about to get on the treadmill as usual but then decided today was the day to take it outside. Concrete is so much harder to run on! Really did very bad. My hayfever was awful. I ended up walking most of it. Not sure whether to try it again but start on week 1 when my hayfever

Rocking sensation UPDATE
***I posted this post below about 4 months ago. Since then my MRI and VNG test came back normal. My ENT said it’s most likely “migraine associated vertigo” but wants to do an allergy test and to maybe try vestibular therapy. Before doing that I visited a well respected chiropractor who told me maybe

Allergies and B12 deficiency
I’m not sure whether others have experienced this or this is just a freak coincidence. Before I developed B12 deficiency I got tennis elbow and had no problems with the neoprene arm band. Now, after B12 deficiency diagnosis, I have just got tennis elbow yet again. Now however, I cannot wear the neoprene
