Eyes, nose, throat, chest - what's the worst symptom?
When it comes to hayfever it's always my itchy streaming eyes that are the unbearable factor and send me inside on a lovely summer's day. I can handle running nose, itchy throat and even a bit of wheeze. And unfortunately Opticrom drops seem pretty ineffective other than a temporary coolling down.

Sore Throat - PND, cough and inhaler
Hi, Like many people, I've found my hayfever really bad this year and have been suffering with this and then this causes problems with my asthma. Was just thinking I had got a bit of control back again and now back on pred after visit to OOH yesterday (armed with my new action plan). Anyway, one problem

Rhinitis and Hypothyroidism
While I was trying to find some information about rhinitis and hypothyroisim (having suffered lot myself ever since my TT) I came across this extract from a Turkish study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20626323 The following conclusion was drawn: Besides other examinations

Dymista - anyone tried it?
I got quite excited about this article earlier in the year (Daily Mail notwithstanding), but never got around to seeing my GP about it, as I hadn't had such bad hayfever this year. Suddenly things are getting bad again (London). I'm presuming this is not the miracle cure as stated below, but does anyone

Has anyone else had laryngitis and allergies (hayfever, rhinitis etc) and been recommended thyroxine and been cured?
I have been having repeated attacks of laryngitis on and off for the past 2 years (I've always had a bout of laryngitis, ever since I can remember- maybe once a year/2years). 2 weeks ago, my Dr prescribed for me, a steroid inhaler and 75 mg of levothyroxine. He said that I was asthmatic and borderline

Drug Allergies
Does anyone else have huge issues with medications and allergies and adverse reactions? As I haven't started treatment yet as they are 'scared' of my reactions, I would like to go armed with as much info as I can so I am not another sausage in the sausage factory.

Can a middle aged person develop a food intolerance?
I'm a middle aged man I've suffered with asthma and hay fever all my life so I'm pretty much aware of a lot of allergies etc. Most I can avoid although a few such as household dust I've learned to cope with. But this one I find weird I'm not even sure it is a food intolerance or not. Over the last

How do I deal with a cat allergy when suffering with Bronchiectasis?
I have Bronchiectasis which has recently worsened, but for over twenty years I have suffered continual cold and bug like symptoms which despite numerous tests, remained undiagnosed. By chance I did an online allergy test. I was asked to include pet hair which I did reluctantly as I have lived with cats

Is anyone under 40 using Nippy night time non invasive ventilation with oxygen and constant oxygen during the day
my daughter is trying to cope with severe lung damage caused by Sarcoidosis and day to day living on oxygen and night time ventilation - I think it would be helpful if she could communicate with someone nearer her age who is experiencing similar health problems.

I just answered the new hay fever poll
I was just going to tick the box that said 'Same as Normal' and realised that in the last three days I have had two breathless episodes, my cough is producing blood, and the doctor who visited me at home (the joys of living in Devon) said no crackle but you do have a terrible wheeze. Hay fever had
