Zytiga+Zoladex instead of Taxotere
Good day everyone, Just wish to share with you this update.. I sought a second opinion on whether Taxotere was the most appropriate course of action after casodex and Zoladex which reduced PSA only to a certain level and stopped to drive it down. The second oncologist advised me to do Zytiga and

Zoladex 3month injection - side effects
Started zoladex in September 17, first 3 weeks was ‘fine’ taking with the HRT. Then came random super heavy bleeding and immense pain to the point I was shaking and grey. Given medication to slow bleeding and pain relief ... stopped after 8 days. Second injection all month didn’t take HRT felt great

Nice to meet you ... to meet you, nice!
I am a 61 year old male in generally good health and with good fitness and strength. Last November I was diagnosed, using Transperineal biopsy, of having stage 1c, Gleason 4+5 = 9 with a PSA of 11.4. I was immediately started on Bicalutamide and Tamoxifen. A bone scan in late December shown metastization

Castrate-resistant medication options?
Hello all, my dad's case is unfortunately not reponsing well to ADT (Casodex and Zoladex) and protocol will be changed to Chemo (Taxotere and prednisone) while keeping Zoladex injections every three months. Any experiences with Taxotere? I am quite nervous about the side effects and whether they will

Fed up with being treated like this - Gnhr analogues - zoladex
Just had a follow up with a different consultant. After giving up for the last two years on any help I’ve needed to get help due to the pain. Diagnosed stage 4 five years ago, ablation but no endo removed in lap, as said would remove during hysterectomy. Last scan two months ago, two large cysts on

Mirena zoladex and tibolone
Hi everyone I've been suffering with endo for over a year now already had two laparoscopies. During the second one had mirena coil inserted but it didn't help. Last Friday my doctor put me on zoladex and gave me tibolone which I haven't taken yet as I'm terrified of the side effects. Was wondering if

Ovaries removed rather than full hysterectomy
I’ve just seen a new endo specialist as my last one has just left. I’m stage 4 endo with bowel envolvment. I’m at the stage where I need surgery and went in thinking I need a full hysterectomy & end up on hrt. The specialist however is reluctant to do full surgery as my bowel envolvment will mean I need

Endo pain back with a vengeance
Hi! Hope everyone is doing well! Just wondered if anyone who had a course of Zoladex has ended up with their endo pain coming back worse than it was before the treatment. I've posted before about my horrendous side effects during my treatment which gutted me because i was totally pain free...the pain

Since coming off I had one normalish bleed and then nothing for 6 weeks. I have been off work since Wednesday, I

Healing of adenomyosis
Hey guys! I was diagnosed with adenomyosis sister to Endo in 2016, I started zoladex in May May 2017 took my last doze in October. Had my first period in December and I didn’t feel pain. I have read stories about several people that still had pains afterwards, mine was not the same. God healed me! Move
