Returning period after Zoladex ?
Hi, I am 28. I have suffered with Endo for 7 years and was diagnosed with it about 3 years ago. I was placed on the Zoladex injection every month for 2 and a half years. I had my last injection in December just gone and a lap in January this year, since then I have stopped all medication except Pregablin

Ibrance and neuropathy? Please help.
Hello I wonder if anyone taking similar meds to me has experienced neuropathy in their hands and arms? I’ve been taking Ibrance for only 5 months, together with Femara (letrozole), Zoladex (Goserelin), and Zometa (Reclast). I’m getting a lot of pins and needles, tingling, in my arms. It’s worse at night

Post Hysterectomy Support
Hi I have been through a pretty bad time with Endometriosis in the last few years after we decided to start a family. Turned out i had stage 4 (and beyond!) endo with a 15cm chocolate cyst on my ovary and stuck to my bowel. I was advised having a child would be very difficult and that a full hysterectomy

How do you get independent medical advice!
So the NHS are now protecting themselves! I can’t trust anyone! They’re all f’ing liars! So 5 years ago I was opened and shut at a private hospital! Sent to tertiary care for ‘priority’ surgery! Obviously didn’t get it!.. Waited in excess of almost a year! Tried on various treatments, then taken into

Severe bowel endo symptoms - offered zoladex after lap found no endo - advice needed
Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give. Really sorry its a long one but I feel so lost and confused. 💛 I had my first lap in 2017 with a diagnosis of endo in my pouch of douglas and minor spots near my ovaries that were removed via ablation, after suffering really badly for years

Refusing to continue Zoladex, but offering no other suggestions.
Hi Ladies, I am currently on month 4/6 of Zoladex injections to treat my severe endometriosis. Had a telephone update (with the gynae secretary may I add) and they are refusing to allow the injections to continue past 6 months but cannot offer me anything else in its place. I should have an outpatient

Anyone with a similar situation?
Long story short:- Diagnosed non-STI PID. 6 months of antibiotics on/off. Every-time antibiotics stopped, symptoms started back up. Sent for a lap at a private hospital. Opened/shut, diagnosed as Stage 4, told I had to go BSGE for surgery, Zoladex started at post-op. Went to BSGE, fobbed off for months

Endometriosis & Menopause
Has anyone with severe Endo gone through the menopause young? I'm only 38 and it appears my time has come. Did you take or were you recommended HRT? I've previously had Zoladex so in a way know what to expect but not sure if anyone has experienced issues with standard menopause treatments.

Treatment prognosis
First, a bit of background. I'm 74 years old, and in March 2021, after an MRI and biopsy, I was diagnosed as having T3b prostate cancer with involvement of the left seminal vesicle, Gleason 7 (4 + 3) ISUP group 3, PSA 11. The Radiation Oncologist told me that treatment was going to be 6 months Zoladex

Hi everyone So I’ve just finished with the zoladex injections. They were useless for me and gave me heavy periods. I’m up for trying anything. Pills patches creams drops. Anything I’ll give a go. Menopause did not stop the pain. ☹️. Crazy really as I first went to see a doctor for heavy periods in

Faslodex/Fulvestrant update
For those being offered or starting this protocol - here’s an update. I know when I joined this group - it meant a lot to get information and experiences. Faslodex is my second line treatment- after Ibrance, Femara & zoladex. I’ve been feeling well on Faslodex - still going about my daily routine and

*Help please* Continuing Zoladex after 6 months treatment, how can I do this?
Hi ladies, I am halfway through a 6 month course of Zoladex and I am really keen to stay on the medication whilst I am on the waiting list for surgery for my severe endometriosis. Has anyone managed to stay on the medication for longer than 6 months? I was told that I would have a surgery date by now

Is this what you’d expect
My first PSA reading is 0.2 after Zoladex 3 month after 1st PSA 102 in December 2021 1 bone met in Sacrum Is this a reasonable first outcome of what’s going to be an ever changing rollercoaster ? Thanks
