I have stage 4 endo with a few laparoscopies and laser treatment.
I want to avoid surgery (as I’m full of adhesions) and have been offered zoladex to try or merina coil (no idea why but coil petrifies me as it’s so painful even having a smear!).
Last time I had the progesterone implant it negatively effected my moods and now I don’t know how best to decide on treatment,
I am tempted to do nothing but yearly MRI though my consultant said this concerns him with regards disease progression.
Any experience great fully received. My main pain is bone and nerve where I have one ovary fused to my pelvis so I’m thinking zoladex might be worth a try????

I've had surgery adhesions twice, apparently its not endometriosis. Had minerva coil fitted for medical reasons. I've never looked back. I know it's not for everyone, difficult to know if it suits until you try. First year i had doubts followed by another 7 years of knowing it right.
I had Mirena coil for 7 years with top up mini pill and was really well throughout and i agree insertion isn't as bad as you think take pain killers before hand they can also inject the site to help. But the coil will take time to settle down def worth a try.
