Low haemoglobin/ bacteria infection
Has had
neutropenia
sepsis, a blood transfusion and sodium supplements. She has had a cough for 8 weeks now and it's confirmed a bacteria infection, which I know can be caused by the chemo. She is now on antibiotics again.

uMRD question
The point of this is to limit the extended period of
neutropenia
and other adverse events, as well as secondary maligancies, and especially to avoid placing selective pressures on the remaining CLL cells that select for refractory mutations.

Can you help me with an advice, please
I don't feel well at all, but I also have other health problems: lupus, Sjogren's, Henoch's purpura,
neutropenia
... I have a lot of symptoms and pains that I don't know where they are coming from, but fibromyalgia and depression are to blame.

Update 8.1 - post venesection
So low, but acceptable level of
neutropenia
. LYMPH dropped below our target of > 0.50. Now at 0.49. Though below the target of acceptable lymphopenia, i am not particularly concerned since the LYMPH has been cycling up and down. It will likely come back up on its own.

Peripheral neuropathy
Have had the venetoclax reduced to 200mg for a few weeks to help with
neutropenia
, but over the last 3 weeks I have developed neuropathy particularly in my fingers which wakes me up at night as my hands go numb and have pins and needles constantly.

neutropenic on first chemo
Hi - my husband had his first taxotere infusion on the 21st and was admitted to the hospital on the 28th with fever and
neutropenia
. He went WBC nadir in the hospital on the 29th. The infectious disease doctor was consulted and she thinks his stomach/gut bacteria is infecting him.

Advice - likelihood of rapidly being over medicated
I know thyrotoxicosis can affect neutrophil count as can Carbimazole so obviously hoping that mine is thyroid driven and the Carbimazole will help it increase again but I'm obviously also worried about the risk of
neutropenia
. Any thoughts?

Feeling doomed today
Just had a steady 6 weeks on it and feeling the benefits but bloods have come back showing
neutropenia
and sky high cholesterol. BP has also risen over the time I’ve been taking it. I literally feel like giving up, I just don’t have the will today.

Reply to issues with Spleen
After a treatment cycle of FCR for 6 months and
neutropenia
sepsis for 10 days my course of treatment was stopped as the chemotherapy had had the desired effect and my oncologist advised it would have been dangerous for us to continue more treatment at this point as it would have made me even more poorly

Early results of the Pirtobrutinib, Obinituzumab, Venetoclax trial I'm on have just been published
I had a brief
neutropenia
. We stopped treatment briefly during cycle 11 in December, 2023 due to an unknown infection with fever > 100.4F/38C. Per the trial protocol, I was admitted to my local hospital, and did IV antibiotics and IVIG.

Methotrexate-induced neutropenia
Good Evening, I’ve been on methotrexate for 6 years and unlike many others I haven’t had many problems with it, until about 6 weeks ago when I had to stop taking it due to my neutrophil count being under 1. Has anyone else had this problem and any ideas for what I can do whilst I wait to hear back from

neutropenia
(?) any thoughts please

V + O for R/R CLL post FCR
I had 3 rounds of FCR in 2018 stopped because of profound
neutropenia
. I relapsed exactly 2 years later and though I did not start Tx until the 5 year point in 2023, would have gladly started it 9 months ealier due to B symptoms.

CLL replication rate
With treatment, CLL cells are drastically reduced -- a good thing -- but to a lesser extent, so are good cells, hence
neutropenia
. Along with the loss of good cells, so is the natural check on the CLL cells.

Neutropenia
I have had CLL for 15 years and I have just developed a case of
neutropenia
. My number is 5.1, but the normal maximum is supposedly 4.5, are my levels dangerous? Any information would be gratefully received.
