Surgery postponed
I recently got diagnosed with a large acoustic
neuroma
of 2x2.7 cm. I spoke to my consultant yesterday via the phone and she said surgery is the next step. The only problem is because of the Coronavirus it won’t be till we’ll over 6 months. I’m on the waiting list but it’s all very scary.

Could it be an Acoustic Neuroma?
Hi, I'm new here and would like some guidance. I was sent to the emergency room this week for a possible stroke. I woke up with hearing gone in my right ear. It came back later that day. The next morning I woke up with muffled hearing and the right side of my face completely numb, a bit of mouth droop

Acoustic neoroma and autoimmune
So I'm quite sure my accoustic
neuroma
does not weaken my immune system or put me in the at risk category with Corona V. I was online just making sure when I saw this group. Can anyone confirm this please?

Googling all my symptoms: TMJ, Acoustic

New diagnosis of acoustic Neuroma
Hello everyone, this is my first post since being diagnosed with a 13mm acoustic
Neuroma
. I was diagnosed last week and still trying to come to terms with this. I have been having a lot of symptoms for a while from pain in ears, tinnitus, some hearing loss on my left, where the AN is.

Employment and Acoustic Neuroma
My wife had her AN diagnosed about a year ago. Prior to diagnosis, she was already experiencing tinnitus, hearing loss and vertigo. Whilst the tumour has not changed in the 12 months, the ability for my wife to maintain her current job and well-being has really been impacted. The symptoms have worsened

Acoustic neuroma? Has anybody Had pain or hot feeling in ear
I’ve now googled and got myself in absolute state that it could possibly be acoustic
neuroma
. I don’t feel I have lost any hearing but ear sometimes feels uncomfortable. Trying to stay positive but I’m full of anxiety.

Recent FND Diagnosis Following Many Symptoms That Started After Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Googling all my symptoms, I find: TMJ, Acoustic
Neuroma
, Superior Canal Dis., Cerebral Fluid Build Up on Brain, Multiple Sclerosis (MRI was all clear)...Has anyone dealt with anything like this, following a tooth extraction? And do you think a diagnosis of FND is warranted?

Experience after Gamma Knife
I underwent gamma knife surgery in 2000 in Los Angeles. I had earlier undergone two retromastoid craniectomy Surgeries in Pittsburgh by Dr Peter Janetta. Unfortunately I had five cranial nerves involved so the facial pain was the worst part. Gamma knife did relieve most of the face pain however I

T and me
Since then an acoustic
neuroma
operation made it worse. And getting older has not helped. I've been down different paths seeking relief. What is helping is the odd realization of the truth. It's not funny but for some of us without a known medical cause or cure, T seems uncontrollable.
