You may be aware that here at HealthUnlocked, our model works through partnering with patient advocacy organisations, who provide their resources and expertises to relevant communities on the platform. This enable us to offer a safe and supportive network to all HealthUnlocked members.
To this end, we are thrilled to announce that as of next week, The Brain Tumour Charity (thebraintumourcharity.org/) will be joining the Acoustic Neuroma Support community as the official new community partner!
Since 1996, The Brain Tumour Charity have been leading the way in the fight against brain tumours and we are thrilled to have them on board to support this wonderful community! They will be joining to share their resources and knowledge on all things brain tumour related to help grow and nurture your community, as well as providing moderation to maintain the safety of the platform.
As part of The Brain Tumour Charity coming on board, you may notice some logo changes to the community, but all other aspects of the community will remain the same and you will be able to continue sharing posts and receiving support as you always have done.
Keep an eye out for The Brain Tumour Charity intro post next week, and welcome them into your wonderful community!
