Planning a day/night out tomorrow
Evening all. Hope you are all feeling well. I’ve got my latest COPD review tomorrow morning. Currently using saline through my nebuliser as I’m feeling tight chested. My pulse is down at 81 and my BP is 138/88. We check my obs and write them in a little book most days, and it’s made me realise that

Is this COPD or anxiety
I am new here. My husband has COPD but no cough or mucus and rarely has chest infection. He does suffer from anxiety and depression. He often gets up saying he is ill with COPD but generally when I am going to be out or away. I just cannot tell if he is physically ill or having anxiety attack. Have had

Scleroderma, Cushing's, Ankylosing Spondilytis
Hello all Has anyone here been diagnosed with all three conditions? I've been on low and high-dose steroids for decades to manage asthma and eczema. Over the years, I've had loads of 'issues' that I've (and various GPs) put down to menopause, ageing and steroids: hep c > not hep c, yet antibodies present

Just to say Hi Newbie here.
Hi I have been a long term asthmatic and I was wondering if people could recommend a light weight portable nebuliser going on holiday soon and was wondering which was the best for ventolin and serevent nebules . Swollen Ankles
Hi all since my latest episode of bad chest, I’ve noticed that if I spend any time on my feet that my ankles swell up. Is this connected to my bad chest or is it something different ? I have now finished steroids after 8 weeks of taking them, I am still using the nebuliser twice a day and I’m still on

Seen chest specialist
Seen specialist privately last week, he was so nice and listened to all we said, I gave him a written copy of all my chest problems from the age of 2 from when my Asthma started. But my real problems started in 2012 when I had life threatening blood clots on the lungs which caused scarring on the left

Asthma attacks, hyperventilating & tachycardia? - 17 year old !HELP!
Hello, I’m 17 years old and recently I’ve been struggling with my asthma. Within the space of 3 weeks I have had 2 asthma attacks, one resulting in a ambulance and the other a trip to a&e. The first asthma attack developed throughout the day, I had been taking my blue inhaler however it didn’t relive

Welcome to the R.A. Unit
Interesting to read about the state of GP’s and the NHS and how bad it is, but personally I can’t find much to complain about if I’m honest. Following yet another trip to my GP at 9.30 this morning, I am currently in the Rapid Assessment Unit at Hospital, on a nebuliser being ‘vaporised’ as the nurse

Medical BP conundrum (because having dodgy lungs isn’t enough 😅)
So just got out of hospital but thought I’d post here to see if anyone has ever had anything similar cause I had everyone stumped 😂. Now it’s not just my lungs confusing everyone 😅. Has anyone very suffered from low blood pressure solely when sitting with feet hanging/on the floor? Severe asthma attack
