It may help people advise you if you told us what you are nebulizing and w

hat was the reason you were given it.

Personally i nebulize ventolin to open my airways and saline to help loosen the mucus which both work, i also nebulize colomycin twice a day to keep pseudomonas numbers down, but the jury out on if that works.

Best wishes

I too find a nebulizer makes my symptoms worse. My heart rate goes up and it does not help my breathing. I stopped using mine and feel as long as I keep active I am less breathless. If I give in to my symptoms and do not make the effort they get worse..

Well finally somebody with problem l had.GP could not understand, hosp's did not

believe me.Had been using for a while as thought it was needed. It was at a time when l was having exacerbations up to 4 times a week.

Then one day, having stopped using Neb's for a while, my breathing not being that

good, decided to try Neb's again.BIG mistake and into Hosp.Have not used for six years

Exacerbations virtually non existent. Although l do take two amoxicillin daily .

This happened to me when I was using saline but since using ONLY Ventolin the nebuliser has been of some benefit.

I had problems using an nebulizer couldnt cope with it. Consultant suggested having about 10puffs on my inhaler . Which helped check with your doctor.
