2 weeks after Amoxicillan & Clarithromycin for chest infection, 40mg pred a day nowbeing cut by 5mg a day & meds’ for home nebuliser I am sat on sofa with cough that just won’t go away, How long does this last & what to do next? Shattered through lack of sleep as it comes on as soon as I fall over & wakens me up again...advice please!

Cough takes forever to go away for me. Do you have sinus issues?

Yes, seems to be hard to shift, I am on Avamys nasal spray & motelukast tabs as well as Seretide....just so choked up with coughing..

Try sleeping with chest near vertical. I have done that when I had very bad cough.
